I would say we should trade Booker to the Lakers for Rui Hachimara or something so Adam Silver will get us #1 overall pick next year but we don’t even have our picks

Like Adam Silver couldn’t help us even if he wanted to.

I only mention Miami because Giannis (per reports) had the Heat listed as one of his initial preferred teams:

No one on that list has the assets for Giannis. Second why would he leave the Bucks for a worse Nets team?

He has businesses in New York, The Nets have plenty of cap space to add other big names in 26' and 27' free agency, knowing that players would come there to play with Giannis. And they have a boatload of picks they can offer Milwaukee in a trade too.

As for Miami, he'd go there for their culture, the No taxes, the nightlife and the Greek food, etc. Also to play with Bam and Herro.

And LA because it's the biggest market, it'll always get propped up by the commissioner and league office, and to play with Lebron and Luka. But really though, Giannis will now end up either with the Spurs or in OKC. Most likely Adam Silver jumped them into the top 3 of the draft so they could outbid Houston and other teams to rebuild the Spurs "twin towers" dynasty again. It's just sad because it's so obvious. :nonono:

Lakers are apparently looking to move Reaves. Definitely will be in the mix to help facilitate a huge trade because they are building around Luka assuming he signs a new contract.

Bucks are not going to settle for pennies on the dollar. The above teams don't have the assets and I don't see the Mavs/Spurs sacrificing their future for Giannis.

However KD will be a hot commodity because he will require a lesser package but have a huge impact.

NBA is so rigged man, can't stand it. Flagg heading to Dallas, we net the number 10 pick and don't have it and could really use a nice young player. Fun times to be a Suns fan.

We moved down from 9 to 10 if that's some consolation

If Nico trades Flagg or even asks the owner about it he will definitely be getting fired. Sure they could trade #1 for Giannis but after the Luka trade fans would be beyond pissed. He will be the future face of the Mavs.

The Mavs getting the #1 pick I think helps the Spurs out to possibly land Giannis.

Happy for Mavs fans but the owner needs to keep a close eye on Nico Harrison now.

I'm happy for this Rockets outcome because despite how much I truly hate the idea of Giannis on the Spurs, this 10th pick outcome means that the Rockets now have very little chance of outbidding any of Brooklyn, OKC, or San Antonio for Giannis. And that tracs in our favor to then trade them KD as a consolation prize for our picks back and some young players and fillers too!

I was pissed about Dallas and SAS but as far as we are concerned, this was a great option. Houston has 0 chance at getting Giannis unless they gut their team.

If OKC can just go down to Denver, it's the perfect start for us.

Giannis to SAS while Houston and OKC battle it out for KD.

Gotta update your name to CdoubleGees
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

McDonough un-rigged the 2018 draft

Here you go Luka Doncic help him settle into the NBA with his national team coach, no thanks we prefer the guy who plays down the road.

Tbh F Luka. Dude is hard to watch. He cries all game, doesn’t hustle on defense , and I would rather have Mikal bridges hustle than a fat James harden

KD and Beal screwed up this team. No leadership and divas .

Give me FVV (as our CP3) Jabari smith, Eason , and #10 for KD

Give me anybody for Beal

This is probably how this is all going to play out. Giannis likes teams where there is another big to take the pressure off him. Spurs fit the bill perfectly with Wemby. They also have plenty to offer the Bucks.

So it will likely come down to Houston and OKC bidding for Durant.

Would you guys trade Durant for Tatum- even if he tore his Achilles? I would in a heartbeat and see if he recovers. I'll roll the dice

The NBA does not give a **** about the eastern conference or anything resembling parity.

Just imagine if Giannis gets traded to a western conference team.
