I'm not in the inconclusive boat.

I'm on the wgaf jet ski riding around one of the many lakes near Phoenix ideal for late autumn water sports with a hot undergraduate from ASU on by back. Her nails are hurting my shoulder so maybe I'll come hang out in the inconclusive boat

Wait what are we even talking about again??

This entire conversation makes me feel slightly embarrassed for my city

Why would Bledsoe sign that? That's the same price we've offered.

He wouldn't, it would be another team's offer, making the 4 and $48 million look better than what other teams have to offer.

He could want a max all day long, but if no one is offering, he is sol. I don't think he is dumb enough to take the QO, way too much risk. The only other team that can offer him a max is Philly, and they don't really need him. S&T deals could be made, but what is in it for us?

If Bledsoe didn't help us defensively, I say screw him.

I think his point was that an offer sheet is meaningless unless it's signed, which Bledsoe wouldn't do for 44 million. There'd be nothing for us to match.

I think he'll sign for 48-53 million and either be happy with it, put his head down and tear it up next year OR sign it and publicly ask to be traded.

Either way, we get a hell of a lot of return for what we traded for him.

Guys, we wouldn't be matching. The offer would show the next best offer available. If he is about the money right now, he has to take our deal.

Unless he starts phoning in games in protest, forcing us to sell him for cheap.

Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report · 10m
As of this am, hearing that Suns holding strong on Randle, but Lakers not budging. Suns have upper hand to retain Bledsoe, Lakers next best.

Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report · 6m
IMO Bledsoe will take a huge risk to sign 1-year qualifying offer worth $3.7M w/Suns and become UFA next year. Leave 45M guaranteed on table

If that was the case, I would bench him, and limit him to garbage minutes. Completely kill his value. :D

Yes. He has to make up $9 million over the course of the deal to break even from the $9 he leaves on the table for just this year. And then, if he has any injury, especially knee injury, at all, he won't get near what he is being offered right now. Eric Gordon would not get nearly now the money that the Suns offered him.

If his agent advises him to take the QO, he is an absolute moron. The dude reps one star and 2 other good/decent players...to not take $48M guaranteed on your non-Lebron talent would be baffling and a terrible business decision.

He would destroy his own market value. Who wants a player that would do that to his own team?

Any of our 'insiders' have any info on our pursuit of Monroe? Or any new news regarding Bledsoe?

Seems like he never liked being here and simply does not want to return. I'm starting to feel like it has nothing to do with the money.

I think the official NBA account tweeted that he turned down a $48M offer.

Return to Phoenix Suns
