Do you like him playing PF? I think he is more a C, and we have Len and Chandler now. I like him coming of the bench like a fourth big man, I don't think he can be an starter, at least for now.

Sounds like McDonough has done his off-season work. Filling in role players on 3m and 5m contracts shows that there's no starter type player that we're saving room for.

Sometimes I think McDonough targets players with low value or expectations so he's in a no lose situation, gets any praise for upside and they're not expected to do much anyway. If the team doesn't go anywhere in the next 2 years, people will be asking what was he doing with these players similar to the Warrick, Turkoglu, Childress, Beasley rebuild not a rebuild.

something that sticks in my mind, McD buys low on players but doesn't sell high. I suppose foresight is 20-20, but imagine if we had sold high on Green and Plumlee after the 2014 season

The Suns should try and pick him up, great rebounder and competitor

can play some PF off the bench

Holy crap. That would be FANTASTIC. Let's get rid of Keef for a guy that actually has the balls to go grab a rebound every now and then.

Make it a 3 team deal. Give up Keef to a team that will pick in the 20-30 range and have them send their pick to OKC. Then we can send a top 13 (we must keep getting the 13th pick) protected pick to OKC for McGary.

Thoughts?

I am not sure OKC will match Kanter but how about this

Cleveland: Kieff

Suns: McGary

OKC: Haywood - contract to waive

Granted, just like how in 2010 when Sarver pocketed the 18m for Ben Wallace in the Shaq trade instead of, as reported, takingTyson Chandler (and I think we all know wit Tyson at the 5 that year, swept the Spurs, lost to the Lakers in 6, the Suns WOULD have won the champnship!!) - but like Amare with a true 5; the idea of Kieff with an experienced big man with him on defense and rebounding and teaching him how to play - Ithink he can improve IF, big IF, his head is okay with his brother gone

Personally, the brotheron different teams is what they both need.

The Bucks are already in a good position being in the Eastern Conference and none of their players have hit their peak yet. I would say though, with MCW/Middleton/Giannis/Monroe/Henson where does that leave Jabari?

On another note. I kinda like the way the team is constructed, and I wanna see what it is we can do this season.

Yes, I would do that deal too, but Jabari Parker is untouchable. He has Star potential, he and the Greek Freak are not on the block, no way.

Agreed. They wouldn't do that for just Parker IMO.

Well done Marcus. I'm very glad you are gone, but this was an adult acknowledgement to make to the training staff. Well done.

Agreed. STand up move by Mook

And I do think, the brothers being apart will make each of them better. I think they got into each others business on the court so much, complaining for the other one over foul calls, being the first guy off the bench to what seems like congratulate each other first and not other players on the teams (I am probably overstating that) . But I think this will make them even better players

And Kieff did show promise last year. If he continues to work hard, get better, and listen to the coaches and a guy like Chandler, there is no reason he cannot be a 17-18/8 per game player. Markieff, prove to you, your teammates and us fans the Suns were lucky to not get Aldridge

OK, well, I tried...

One more attempt. I wouldn't do this, personally, but would the Bucks?

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ntonot9

MCW/Middleton/Giannis/Monroe/Len

For the Bucks?

Bledsoe/Bayless/Ennis
Middleton/MCW/Vaughn
Giannis/Warren
Monroe/Kieff/O'Bryant
Len/Plumlee

So, that gives them a 2nd team of Bayless, MCW, Warren, Kieff, Plumlee, but a 1st team with Bledsoe, and having Middleton and Giannis on the wings, with Monroe and Len able to switch back and forth between the 4 and 5. Honestly, they might very well be the 2 seed out East with that team.

For us:

Knight/Vasquez/Goodwin/Price
Mayo/Weems/Booker (or Goodwin)
Tucker/Inglis/Weems
Parker/Teletovic/Leuer
Chandler/Henson

We take a different direction, but have some upside guys in Inglis, Booker, Knight, Parker, and Henson as possible starters next season. I think the Bucks would have a difficult time turning that down with Len added in the mix.

This is just some fun for getting Kieff out of PHX, even though I'm not terribly concerned about that, as I think Kieff will 'man up' and play, especially with his future at stake.

I am not usually cynical but isn't thanking the training staff but no one else and intended slap in the face.

"I would like to that Sarver's secretary for sending out great memos" Sarver? McD? Horny? crickets chirping.

Oh well. He can be angry if he wants. Its his privilege.

It probably is an intentional dig, but think about how often he interacts with the training staff. At least multiple times a week, perhaps every day or even multiple times a day during the season.

Marcus is like an infant child with no sense of object permanence. Sarver and McDonough are distant, scary concepts. The training staff are highly visible by comparison, and even a moron like him can connect the dots between "I never get injured" -> "This is probably because these confusing people who probe me every day are doing something that prevents me from being injured".

C'mon Hinkie, trade him to Phoenix for CLE 2016 1st and save this young man's career.

The Sixers are planning as if Embiid won’t play this season, sources say. Another source said the franchise is concerned that this setback could be career-threatening.

That sucks :(

@PompeyOnSixers: According to sources,#Sixers center Joel Embiid will have a second surgery and is likely to miss 2015-16 season. http://t.co/vHKWdIi0b0

Can you say Greg Oden!

Feel bad for Embiid, but I have no sympathy for the Sixers. I want that experiment to fail miserably.
