Journalism has turned to sh-t lately.

Steven A Smith - I heard Kyrie Irving wants out, I don't know why, I haven't spoken to him.

That's a conversation for a production meeting at 10am, not a live to air piece.

Sh*t, that's bold. I'd do Knight+Booker+Tucker for Butler alone. No way Bulls part with Butler IMO.

Yep, but just look how much discussion that ridiculous comment created on our forum.

Feels like a lot to give up for a team that would still have issues making playoffs. We'll still need to get lucky in FA to get any semblance of a decent playoff team.

Sadly other teams wont even pick up the phone without Booker as part of the package. You cant expect to ask for the other team's best player without offering them your own team's top asset

Booker isn't gunnna net you a franchise cornerstone, maybe along with an unprotected 2016 pick and the 2021 Miami pick but even then probably not

They'd be a playoff team in that 4-6 range but no chance to win a title. I think the only way to beat GS is with a dominant center but those don't exist anymore.

I don't think it is. I think it's a 7-9 team, at best. Especially when our PF in this scenario is a massive question mark. Two Eastern all-stars, two young not-yet proven players and a question mark PF doesn't make us a 4-6 seed playoff team. Unless that PF is also an all-star level player, it would be tough to see us higher than 7-8 at best. Butler and Irving could clash too. They've both clashed over touches with their current teams.

And the Bulls right now with some good depth, are at risk of missing the playoffs altogether.

Cousins put up very good numbers against them.

Last season... Grizzlies were doing well against them but Conley got hurt and Jeff Green simply disappeared.

Grizzlies with Gasol, Randolph, Conley and a scoring threath SF... Like Gallinari... Can beat the Warriors. They have Chalmers now... And Stephenson, Tony Allen and Barnes SG rotation that can shut down Thompson atleast... Chalmers and Conley going hard at Curry would be a good tactic.

I think waiting for Warriots to drop off is a fine tactic.. But only around 2 years tops... They have an amazinh location and a good FO... They can be Spurs-like and keep retopping with talent.

Suns need their hands into the star talent pool also... They need to be pinching a star or two away from the good teams now. Then fill in the team with fitting players to contend.

But they need that franchise player... Holding onto the pick is a good idea as that can net a franchise player... But suns also need to nab that franchise player to build up a core with.

Some wont like it... But I think Booker would/could be used by McD to get that franchise player.
Jimmy Butler is 26-27... Cousins is a bit younger... I still think McD will try to make a move. They need to have a 2018 target to become a playoff team...

I see 2016-2017 as another pivotal season... If they miss out on a star via trade... They extend to the next season.

Amen. The other day there was an article on ESPN titled something like "Lebron James Eastern Conference MVP of the 2nd trimester". What's next? "Best undrafted Pacific Division player in the Month of April who's first and last name both start with the same letter - an inside look at blossoming career of Duje Dukan". Half the time they really don't seem to have any ideas what to write or talk about.

And then of course there was the time they compared Kobe Bryant to an actual Black Mamba.....

If it's true Bron wants Bledsoe for Irving then I would try to make a 3-way trade. Don't want another selfish pg here even if he's better than the ones we already have.

Anyone thinks something like this could be possible?

Suns may also send Was and/or Cle pick to one of the teams.

Read that we are interested in Bennet. Why not?He is not a risk. We have nothing to loose, but Bennett has to show something. It is maybe his last chance. Sign him and give him minutes to see what he can do. Maybe he will turn into a role player for us. We have Minutes to give on the PF position

Players that were top picks in the 80's, 90's, and 2000's could come in and turn their teams around in their rookie seasons. The most recent drafts are some of the worst drafts of all time. What has happened to quality of play. No fundamentals for these players and then teams give them max contracts when their rookie contracts are up and they are nowhere near deserving of it.

I would be happy if the NBA raise the minimun age to 20 because the impact of those players in their treams and the quality of the overall NBA would be much better.

I think that would be possible, but I think with Favors we'd have to adjust how we play offensively to accommodate him.

But, if we can trade a PG for a 4 like Favors it frees us up to draft another big or Dunn with the Sun's pick if we fall out of the top 2 or 3.
