You sure it was that?

I think it was more the Kendall Jenner thing - since Oubre laid the pipe before Booker got serious with her, which would make for a weird locker room pairing.

It would be very sweet/fitting to finally see Oubre in a Valley jersey I mean dude literally started the Valley Boys brand. He was such an integral part of the momentum shift in Phoenix. Offensively with both he and Gordon the bench would have serious firepower.

He quit on the team during the bubble too so there is that, not happening.

I thought we held him out because he peaked his value and we wanted to and found a trade for him..

So looking at Okogie's gamelog.

Started the season 1 / 18 from 3 and playoffs 2 / 14 from 3.

Can he avoid those stretches or is he who he is shooting wise?

IIRC we wanted him to play but he chose to sit out because he likely thought he showed enough that season and not wanting to potentially reinjure his knee. But I certainly don't believe he wasn't healthy enough to play given he had surgery in early March and the timeframe for return is generally around 4-6 weeks (he was to be re-evaluated in early April). He had 5 months off before the Bubble kicked off. CP3 also wasn't on anyone's radar until after going 8-0 so I doubt it was because we found a trade for him.

Oubre is probably unrealistic otherwise I'd take him as spark off the bench if he accepts such role. Ideally we use the TPEs to get a playmaker though.

Starting to think Okogie should be the fifth starter over KBD. His deficiencies on offensive end will be neglected playing with our big 4 who are all scorers. We need his D with the starters. Goodwin brings the same Okogie brings for the 2nd unit in addition to some playmaking. Both on the court at the same time is redundant.

My barometers will be:

- Beal and Goodwin have to be hits as PG.
- Okogie and Goodwin have to be hits as perimeter defenders.

If that happens I think we're favourites for the championship.

Second is even more important. Book will chip in with ballhandling and playmaking, KD with playmaking and halfcourt offense.
We need somebody to shut down dudes 1 to 3.

I'm still of the opinion our Ayton trade will bring the true PG for us. To Orlando for Fultz/Suggs and WCJ or to OKC where we get picks and players that can be rerouted. Either way.

With Beal and Book on the roster a true PG would be a problem more than a solution.

They need the ball in their hands and they are great facilitators...and we have KD and Gordon too.

A C is more needed than a PG next to all those players and that's why Ayton is safe and he will play next year for the Suns.

Well that's where a guy like Suggs comes into play. A point that can play lockdown defense from the point while still offering some athleticism. Needs to improve his shot though obviously.

Suggs is not that good and he is more of a shooting guard than a point guard.

Yes, he is still young but he won`t play above Book, Beal and Gordon plus we already have a young pg who can play a lockdown defense in Jordan Goodwin.

Does Beal run the 2nd unit similar to CP3?

Beal, Okogie, Bates-Diop, Watanabe, Eubanks

Suggs doesn't makes sense because we have Goodwin...they have the same strengths and flaws but one is already in the roster.

I imagine the Suns are anticipating the Blazers dealing Lillard and perhaps getting Kyle Lowry back to make salaries work, Lowry may likely get bought out or waived. Lowry has shown he doesn't mind coming off the bench so he would be the ideal backup PG for the Suns if he is on the market.

Well the Suns couldn’t use a TpE to get lowry - but maybe Rubio

I still don’t know how the Suns can even get oubre except with the minimum

Why do you care about the Suns having a G league team?

So this is my minutes breakdown for how many of the big 3 we'll have on court during regular season (if all healthy)

3 - 18 minutes
2 - 14 minutes
1 - 16 minutes

So it's a pretty even split.

In playoffs though I think it'd be more like:

3 - 28 minutes
2 - 12 minutes
1 - 8 minutes

Hopefully shooting is all he's working on this summer

Min is the only way. I have a feeling he (and Wood) will end up in Chicago with their DPE
