Similar player - good size, passes well, shoots well, and would be a very good rotation guard alongside Booker and Ulis as he's capable of playing both PG and SG.

Think he has more bounce than Brogdon too.

I think the Nets might be willing to do something like Bledsoe for Trevor Booker, Spencer Dinwiddie and the Toronto 2018 FRP (which is lottery protected).

Bledsoe + Russell might give them a chance to sneak into the playoffs.

I like that trade. Dinwiddie can play. Getting him back plus a first moves my needle. Controlled through 18-19 too.

I'd like to see MCD go after D'angelo Russell. I'm sure when he became available we began asking about him but there was no chance the Lakers would trade him to a division rival. Brooklyn doesn't have that issue but it will take a lot since they are treating him like their franchise player going forward.

Con: We would have to grossly overpay. Something like Bledsoe, our 1st, and take back a bad nets contract.

Pros: 1) We get a very good 21 year old point guard that we can control for many years to come.

2) Booker gets to share the backcourt with his best friend. We control Book's contract going forward anyways but it keeps our franchise player very happy and shows were willing to build the team he wants around him.

3) Dlo goes back to the pacific division and we get the pleasure of him seeking vengeance on the Lakers and embarrassing Lonzo 4 times a year.

4) A lineup of Dlo/Booker/Warren/Chriss/Bender with Ulis/Jackson/Sauce off the bench completes #TheTimeline

Booker already shares the backcourt with his best friend.

Last season Cousins got his wish with a trade out of Sacramento and now Bledsoe is seeking the same out of Phoenix. After four years in Phoenix, Bledsoe wants to win and Wall understands his plight.

"I talk to him all the time," Wall said. "He's just sitting back and being a professional. He can't do nothing about it. He doesn't want to be there. He wants to go somewhere else. It's kind of all in the Suns' hands and where they want to trade him to and what they want to get back for him. He's still working out every day and being a dad at home."

Didn't see the Knicks game, but I don't need to watch the replay to guess that our magic is wearing off and if we want to keep winning games, we need an NBA caliber starting point guard (Mike James is not the answer).

TJ getting injured and missing most of the game did not help. Could have been the difference. It was just an off game shooting wise. It happens with young teams.

I think you need to watch the game. TJ going out early hurt us a lot. We were fine with Mike James as our starting PG when we were 4-1 under Triano even when he had horrible shooting games. One loss doesn't mean we suddenly mean we've lost our magic. Mike James might not be the answer long term but he's fine for now.

DLo and Book backcourt would be nice. They'd have to be scrappy on D. It would never happen though.

Warren was -11 so we were worse with him than without him against NY.

James has shot 12% in 4 of his last 5 games.

Only time will tell if the dead coach bounce lasts (and if it matters).

+- is such a bad stat. If you don’t think missing Warren for the rest of the game didn’t hurt, not sure how I could convince you.

I'm saying Warren's injury didn't lose us the game it's how we played fully healthy before it.

When we want to win consistantly (after the post sack bounce) we will need upgrades at PG and C.

I think some fans are saying do that ASAP to win now, others just get the best return for Bledsoe long term.

Have to just get the best return possible for Bled now. If it fills a need, that’s just gravy.

Id be all for aquiring boogie if he committed to signing long term but he won't so its a moot point. Trading for him without it would be reckless and while you can offer the extra year and a little more money I think hes going to take a bunch of meetings this summer and who knows where he ends up.

If they want to chase him this summer cool but I doubt the suns will be high on his wish list of destinations.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

The only way the Suns pull that off is by apologizing to Bled, committing to max-extend him next off season, and trading multiple firsts plus. None of it is realistic.

Boogie as a Sun has long past. Would have made a better offer last year if they really wanted a Bled/DMC/Booker combo. Still shocked they did not.
