I thought Jackson did get a 2nd contract with Detroit.

Technically yes and he signed a camp deal with the Toronto Raptors.

Also Dragan Bender had a 2nd and 3rd contract (with Milwaukee and Golden State), Marquese Chriss signed contracts with Warriors, Blazers, and Mavericks. Both players were waived from all these contracts.

I think the point here is to get a guaranteed multi-year deals with a raise in pay from the rookie contract. Not partially guaranteed deals worth around the minimum.

I can't be the only one watching Olympic basketball thinking that Yabusele would look really good on our team.

Looked like PJ Tucker with more size and better athleticism

Yeah, but he is a star of Real Madrid - he is not gonna come over to be the 5th man on any team here...

Yeah he would. He is in a contract right now so not sure how it works getting out of it, but next summer for sure if not sooner.

But he probably only makes around 1.5 million a year tops, and an NBA salary minimum would be more. He could maybe get more than a minimum too.

I like Yabusele as a SF/PF bench player but he isn't an option for us because we don’t have any roster spot available.

He can't have a 2-way contract and he wouldn't play (presumably) for the minimum neither...so I think we can't make any reasonable offer to his agent.

And he is under contract with Real Madrid for next season so probably any NBA team that wants him will need to pay some money to his current team.

We are already counting on waiving Liddell to have just 15 players. ATM we have 16 players under contract.

At least Yabusele only dunked on a player this time.

;pp=ygURWWFidXNlbGUgcGFydGl6YW4%3D

RO level player and he'll probably command similar money. 1.5M euro is probably more than a min as salaries in EL are after tax.

His contract is around 2,5 mio usd/year according to google, and he is signed till the end of next season. So if the contracts are also getting bigger in europe, he is roughly making 3 mio in the last year, and he is looking at a bigger extension even if he "only" stays at real. So in the NBA he should be looking (at least) 5-6mio / year.

Yabusele's deal with Real Madrid includes a $2.5 million NBA buyout. That amount reportedly jumped up from $1 million on July 15. An NBA team can put up to $850,000 towards the buyout for the player. That amount is then reflected in the player's cap hit.

Jones - Harden
O'Neale - Leonard
Booker - Mann
Durant - Jones
Nurkic - Zubac

I like the defensive matchups balance

Are you expecting Beal as a bench player?

Not happening. They have already said that Tyus, Beal and Book will be a three-headed monster.

Because we have had such a great success with three-headed monsters. ;)
