Hopefully Triano is temporary and not another interim-turned HC. When both him and Ty Corbin were brought on I thought it was crazy considering how much people at their last teams hated their coaching.

Maybe we're trying to convince Nash (Jay Triano) to be our coach?

is there a market for him out there? I mean, if they take little - like would Denver turn down Mudiay, Arthur and next years 1st for Bledsoe

The Cavs don't seem to be an option unless they think Isiah is done but Isiah wouldn't like Phoenix

Also, what market does chandler have - if any?

There is a market but I don't think it's particularly hot. I think whoever gets him will most probably get him below what he would've likely fetched if he had been traded in the offseason. On top of showing very little in the 3 games so far, him publicly wanting out at the same time as the S-show and chaos that's Phoenix Suns right now (from top to bottom), I'd imagine teams will be looking to capitalise.

Luckily we got decent value for Dragic in a similar situation, and that was him with little time left on his contract. Trade deadline though which changes things as well. I really hope the Bledsoe stuff doesn't drag on and we just trade him and get it over it.

True but Dragic was also coming off a All-NBA (3rd) team selection the season before and I think it was widely perceived that his lower production was because of the 3 PG experiment we were running (and no one asked for).

As good as Bledsoe is as a player, the last award (recognition) he ever got was an all-rookie 2nd team selection. I just don't think the rest of the NBA views Bledsoe as the same calibre of player Dragic was when he got traded.

Triano is being given a chance and I hope at the very least we run some offensive sets.

McD is being exposed as being too clever for his own good right now. Unfortunately its looking like many of us who were wondering about Bledsoe's state of mind were right. In a summer where you almost go to play with your good friend in a prominent role on a winning team (CLE) and instead come back with a smaller role on a losing team there is very little optimism for a 27 year old basketball player. Bledsoe yearns to win and be in a good situation, and his patience has run thin. BW, I guess this answers your question about Bledsoe from a couple of weeks back.

Time to push for massive change. A Steve Nash move would be a boon for PR, but not sure he will come. Triano has some pedigree and history with Nash and might be a lure, but Triano's not got a stellar record himself. I think it would need to be GM, Coach, massive trades all in succession. Something to show the team and base you mean to make moves to win.

This is what it looks like when players stop caring.

McD just got extended this offseason, I think it's fair to say he at least has another season of leeway.

I would fire the entire coaching staff on the spot right now. Watson had it coming, Cant play up tempo if you dont move the ball well, and play good fundamental basketball. Except a team of 20 year olds usually dont know how to play good fundamental basketball... on both sides of the ball.

Watson had to go, we are the laughing stock of the league

Well they do have a game tomorrow night so they need an interim but man, 79 games of an interim is going to be brutal. Unless these guys didn't think Watson was holding the guys accountable enough for not following what the assistants taught them.

It would be nice if there was a nice pool of candidates to interview and hire someone during the season but you're limiting yourself of good candidates big time. This is just a bad situation.

Why? Can we please hire someone with coaching experience this time?
