One question only... couldn't the suns keep Ennis? I've read a couple of good things around about him... I didn't really like getting knight and losing 3 pg and the Lakers pick... could see it being a top7-8 in 1,5 years

Lost in seeing Dragic leave, I have my doubts on Eric Bledsoe being the point guard for a playoff level team. Especially in the West, you need your primary ballhandler to bring it every night. Can anyone that actually watches this team night in and night out make that claim about Bledsoe? He coasts and is downright lazy at times. When he gets to the rim, he looks to draw contact more than to actually finish. Comparing him to a guy like Westbrook is ridiculous.

Hes clearly nothing like Westbrook but hes the third most athletic pg in the nba behind westbrook and waal.

His arm length is extrenely disruptive on D and strong enough to deal with switches. Also one of best rebounding pgs ive ever seen.

Bled is significantly better than Dragic. Period.

This just simply isn't true. To make that claim when we're 50 games removed from Dragic making 3rd team All NBA is ludicrous.

Calling him one of the best rebounding PGs you've ever seen? He's arguably 3rd best in his own conference behind Rondo and Westbrook.

McD said they wanted to keep Ennis but Bucks insisted on Ennis.

At first I thought we were trying to copy the GSW roter.

Two high scoring guards (splash and slash instead of splash brothers)
A gritty center (Bogout - Len)
A stretch 4

But Klay @ 6'7" is much more of a pure SG. I don't care how athletic Beldsoe and Knight are, at 6'1" and 6'3" they are going to have trouble defending taller backcourts.

Lol you seriously think those losses don't matter? After a season in which we missed playoffs by 1 game?

Every loss matters. Just like every win matters.

Meant it more as the Suns still have a chance to make the playoffs and those losses hurt but we are still there.

I still remember sac fans warning us about him and most were like "whatever." Boston fans will probably love him for the first few weeks and after that fall right in with sac and us PHX fans and get tired of his on the court play.
I am such a lucky NBA fan. 8647 My favorite team went from the most greedy and racist owner to the most ego driven dumbass owner in all of sports fdt.

There is no doubt that Dragic/Duffy are posturing. What would be ironic is if he doesn't get the max and has to choose between horrible teams that offer him a differe tole in the lineup and possibly play him out of position. I'm not sure he cares at this point because his agent just wants to get paid.

The blame for what happened to Dragic can go a number of different directions. Some will say Dragic went off his rocker. Some will say it's alarming the front office handled it the way the did, both letting it get to the stage it did and the press conference afterwards. Giving up that Lakers pick for Knight legitimately makes me question if the franchise knows what it's doing or is taking orders from Sarver to put bandaids on bullet wounds and sell as many tickets in the short term and disregard the future.

It's a shame that a poster like Frank gets his fandom questioned and labeled as "negative" when simply questioning the direction of a franchise when the questions are absolutely warranted right now.

Exactly: That is why I keep thinking Bledsoe trade. Also as one above just mentioned, Blesoe is not a leader yet with his on court play. If you can move Bledsoe and some of those picks for someone to go beside Len.... 8-)

The remainder of this season is a trial run for Eric and Brandon. We can sign and trade Brandon as well. I think/hope Archie will be the opposite combo guard with either Bledsoe or Knight. Pick up Jordan, Monroe or whomever will give us a solid big next to Len and bring the MO Bros off of the bench.

Bledsoe or Knight
Goodwin (2016 better version with a better shot, handles, and BB IQ)
Tucker
Len
Jordan or Monroe or Love at PF and Len at C

We traded away Dragic and Thomas and we gave him the max contract he wanted. Bledsoe's here to stay whether you like it or not

And yet, you wanted us to keep Dragic, who we could've said the same about, and who would've cost even MORE at an older age.

I didn't want us to keep Dragic if he's gonna cost $20M/yr. I have been clear of that.

And I was fine with trading Goran after he wanted out, I was more upset at the situation they created which the homers don't understand.

I'm thinking but nothing really comes to mind right now. Bare with me, its been a tough month.

how about this.... nice game Archie.

I'm not new here. I've been posting on here since the offseason, and a Suns fan for about a decade. And once again, you can keep spouting your horribly incorrect opinions, but it doesn't change the fact that the numbers don't side with you, and neither do NBA gms, but yeah, they're all wrong. Btw, did you apply for the Suns GM job?

Okay, so your ideal scenario then was for us not to sign IT, for Goran to be happy here, and then to have him leave in the offseason for $20 million a year?

Because if you aren't happy paying Goran that much, then you shouldn't be bashing the FO for trading him for 2 firsts. Can't have it both ways.

Your trying too hard.

I didn't want the Suns to sign IT here regardless of anything that has to do with Dragic but even more so because he was having a good year. And hell, who knows maybe he would have even taken a discount to remain in PHX if we didn't get a bunch of other players who play his same exact position.

And I still don't think Dragic will get $20M/yr that a bunch of Internet forum posters think he will. Maybe his agent is throwing it out there but Goran imo will not get $20M/yr.
