Massive sudden jump from a Vegas line like that means they heard something legitimate. Seems like you guys are right in the thick of it. Actually the odds on favorites as of right now it would seem

Gambo said earlier Ayton was not on the table -but maybe he was told wrong

IF Kawhi signs long term - he is worth Ayton to me

Nope. No sir, buddy. No.

If Kawhi is being moved for the #1, we are also getting another pick in the top 6, and multiple other shoes are dropping, as well.

It also could mean someone just dumped heavy money on the Suns....(but it would be risky if they didn't feel pretty good about it).

Some multi miillionaire could have just for fun taken the huge odds and put down $10,000 at 1,700 to 1 which would pay out 17 million if it happened and Vegas didn't want to be exposed even if they felt the chance of it happening was small.

Also possible, figured it was worth a share over here in case one of your people had heard something. Lifshatz isn’t infallible but he’s been right about more than a few things in Boston before

I don't think Ayton is included. McD putting together a massive package?

Josh and the Heat pick would be included is my guess

It feels like it would have to be more than that...we would have to throw in next year's first for sure if not this year's #1. And probably 16.

I thought the most likely was a trade to the east like to Boston for Brown, Rozier and the Kings pick or something.

Popovich really wanted Josh Jackson. At least that was the rumor we heard last season.

Its interesting but I'm skeptical. Could it be a ploy to get some money in on that Phoenix bet.

I know, but based on preseason expectations, he had a disappointing season. Not having a shot, particularly when you are a really bad free throw shooter can be a tough thing to overcome.

Rozier Brown Mook and the Kings pick

seemed like a no brainer to me

i personally am skeptical of wanting Kawhi just because how much is SArver/Ryan willing to OVERpay to stop the Timeline and start winning

i have a feeling RC/Popovich will school Ryan - for that reason - I am leery of this trade. Pop is like Red the Cigar and the Logo - they DONT lose these trades

It seems contradictory to Gambo's constant refutation of us trading the #1 pick/Ayton, but apparently he's heard it'd be #1 and JJ for Kawhi. Be interesting to see this play out, but we better not sell the farm for someone that probably wouldn't stay on.

No, the reason they would move Phx to favorites is to dissuade more betting on Phx. You don't even make even money any more. Now you have to bet $140 to make $100. Seems like a foolish bet to make right now.

I don't think he had a disappointing season. It was his first year playing with a tanking team. What exactly did you expect when we barely had a coach much less a system?

I would prefer Josh and Ayton to Kawhi

give me Booker, Ayton and Josh

Spurs would have to take like Dudley and Chandler to make the math work

I would really HATE this deal

The #1 pick plus Jackson, even if Kawhi re-signs, doesn't leave us with much. I sure don't feel real comfortable about him re-signing given his people unless McD has spoken to Kawhi's "people" and they want to be here.

I'd push for Murray at least. That doesn't sound like much more, but he led point guards in DRPM by a long shot....book-ending Book with Murray and Kawhi would be about as good as you could do for defensive purposes.

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/sort/DRPM/position/1

I still don't believe we'd give up that much. There are no assurances he would re-sign.

I don't really buy any of this.

We would need their pick back too...what is it...18? Maybe then we could use 16 and 18 to move up for a big....Robert Williams or something.

They would be hoping people quickly throw money on it thinking its been tipped off and they can make a quick buck even at the bad odds.

It would be a shady thing to do and I don't know this site so not making any accusations. Just throwing it out there.
