Hey Reel_kboy I seen your trade offer. Was wondering if we can modify it. How about Al Jefferson and your 344 pick for Oden and my upcoming pick (which is coming up soon.)

Maybe. But I have to wait a few picks until I decide if I can definitely move Splitter.
I asked if you had interest in any of my guards before but I think you must've missed it. But I am interested in Splitter.

Its your turn now.
The 76-er's picks have been skipped, so they can pick anytime.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
cool thanks man
so with #259 pick the Bobcats select Avery Johnson

if he could make a team with Noringski as franchise player into a great defensive team, he will make my team a damn scary one especially the post defense.
He has an amazing career regular season record 73.5%. And IMO the reasons why his Mavs hadn't won a championship are because of Noringski's softness and David Stern's determination to screw them over in 05-06 Finals.
He will utilize the toughness of my franchise player Tim Duncan who is a big time winner (also a whiner too
) and ultimately lead the team to success.

Interesting picks Blacksun.
Looks like you're setting your hopes on this year's draft class. You're not the only one.

Vincent Yin wrote:TASTIC wrote:^Not sure if you saw my other post Vincent:
hey Vincent any interest in moving Dirk?
Could do something like Melo + Jack (seems a better starter than Bynum) for Dirk + Thornton?
Yeah, I saw it. I totally forgot to reply, sorry.
Anyways, I don't think I really want to do the trade. I'd be willing to move CDR + Dirk for Melo + Jack though.
How about
Melo + Jack + 292
for
Dirk + Thornton + 310
So you'd get back to back picks in the 10th...

I have absolutely nothing against Vincent and I think Nowitzki is a great player. I just don't like him cuz he's really soft. That's just my opinion
I have the same opinion. Dirk is too soft to play the Power Forward position. He's a shooting guard in a Power Forward's body.

Me neither. I had a few people on my list from the 2 previous draft classes, but they were all taken already. I decided to take a gamble on this year's Top 10 picks and see if they shine in their rookies seasons.

Re: Suns Board B-A-T Draft Thread Part 2
After much deliberation, with the 261st pick, the Thunder has decided to hire ex-Celtics lead assistant:
Tom Thibodeau

Considered one of the best defensive minds in the NBA, his resume speaks for itself, he was the defensive mastermind behind the 2008 Championship Celtics team which happened to be one of the best defensive teams of all time. As an NBA assistant for 18 years, the teams he coached has been top 10 in the league in defense 15 times. In six of the last seven seasons, he has helped his teams finish in the top two in field goal percentage allowed. Another aspect of his coaching that I feel brings a lot to my young team is that he has a history of working with and developing young players.
While he does not have experience as a head coach, I think he was due to become one two seasons ago when the Bulls hired VDN instead.
