What if they opted out to get Gasol

Wade
James
Bosh
Gasol

would be nasty good!!

It would be selfish for teams to think they are entitled to Lebron signing a cheaper contract because of something that nothing to do with basketball

I think you might have missed the part where I was meaning the big 3 would all take less money to actually build a TEAM. Every other team would have to offer a lot more money than Miami to lure LeBron away.

Bledsoe for Bosh? I think Bosh would be perfect for our team.

They are going back to Miami. Its about Love and Melo. Melo to Houston!

I'm thinking we just sign Deng and Gasol. Re-sign Channing to spread the D while Pau works down low (sounds dirty) I just dont see us getting any marquee free agents

I still think Pau goes to Memphis. ESPECIALLY if they can't agree with Randolph.

I just really hope we get someone in free agency or trade this offseason, someone franchise changing. I just want to be competitive in the playoffs again.

Melo to Houston for Harden in a sign and trade

With the Rockets moving Asik pretty easily and should be able to move Lin; and the Bulls being able to amnesty Boozer - the Knicks should get decent value in return.

But , when all is said and done, the Suns both CAN and WILL be players. A team with boat loads of cap space, draft picks, and expiring contracts of players who are also pretty good (the Morri, Green) should get some value.

I mean, if the Nuggets can get Afflalo for Fournier and a late 2nd rounder.. McDounough should need two cell phones over the next three weeks.

How are we going to unload those contracts when our young guys need and deserve their minutes, year after next, after our boring old squad (barely) misses the playoffs?

So how much cap room did Orlando just open up with the trade of AA? Did they create enough room to sign three near max players, like maybe Bledsoe, LeBron, and Melo?

Now I know we can match anything on Bledsoe, but if they wanted to do this, could we get some decent young players in a S&T to help them, and us?

This will be a crazy July. :o

No, they opened up enough to max one of Melo or Lebron. Or Max Bledsoe with about 8 mil left over. Rumor is they will use it to take on Boozer for both of Chicago's firsts.

Wow, interesting. When I looked at their salary, they had $35 mil, and dropping AA for Fournier, should open around $5 million. But the Boozer idea is smart, but do they really need that many rookies? :o

LeBron James met with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on Wednesday to discuss free agency plans.

As they did before their 2010 signings in South Beach, the Big 3 met on Wednesday and consulted each other regarding free agency plans. Each player is in a different situation than in 2010, however, so we could see a very different outcome as James has already opted out of his contract while Wade and Bosh each have a decision to make on their own opt-out clauses. James will also reportedly sit down with fellow unrestricted free agent Carmelo Anthony to discuss teaming up, so there doesn't seem to be a quick resolution in sight to this situation.

Wait, so he's not going to also consult with his very dear close and personal friend Eric Bledsoe???
