I don't understand why they didn't just trade Goodwin at the deadline, its clear he won't be playing much or any here. Isn't he a FA after next year anyway? He said it himself that he won't be returning to Phoenix if he doesn't playing time so might as well get something for him imo.

Archie has 2 more years of his rookie deal.

I am positive he will get regular playing time next season with Green and Thornton gone.
