MIN is interested in trading Bennett but i can't see a 3-team trade involving Morris and Bennett.
What i would have done is send Morris to DET for Ilyasova.
This way the brothers are together and you get back a starting PF.
Because Ilyasova's contract is team friendly i suppose you will have to include a sweetener, some kind of pick.
Do you work in Minnesota's front office? I'm guessing SVG wants to keep Ilyasova. He likes the big man in the middle surrounded by floor spreaders.

Re: Kieff
I'd talk to HOU as well - Kieff would be a nice fit as either 6th man or starting next to Dwight. Better floor spreader than DMo or Terrence Jones.
I'd take either of those guys 1 for 1 for him...Both will want BIG paydays this offseason though

I really like Kieff. We'll give you Jamal Crawford, CJ Wilcox and our next 1st (likely 2019).

Re: Kieff
Gentry gave him a lot of minutes as a rookie. Maybe we can say we'll take Anderson with a big offer in FA, so you might as well take as good a replacement as you can right now, instead of being bent over Dragic style like we were.

How about this?
Who says no?

Pelicans get a great scorer off the bench who would be perfect for that team.
Suns get their starting stretch 4.
Clippers get their back-up PF/C at a good price.

Love it! Pels would probably be the ones to say no. I see Gentry wanting to play Davis and Anderson together. Not for long stretches cause the defensive consequences, but still. I'd also question why Phoenix needs to part of the deal if the Pels are willing to part with Anderson for our kind of package. Or why the Clips need to part of the deal as I feel either Kieff and Anderson are both better for the Pels playoff aspirations.

On another note, what do you guys think of Morris for Kenneth Faried?
Why should Denver do that?

I had this notion that Denver isn't so high on Faried. Guess its just me

Only issue is Denver is getting rid of cancers not taking them on. Look at the ty Lawson deal.
If we could convince them I would be more than happy to do it. Faried hurts are spacing but brings hustle and heart two things not a lot of suns have.
Maybe Morris and the Cleveland pick. Or send pj to a third team

Pelicans say no. Their already paying Holliday, Gordon and Evans big bucks no point in adding another expensive guard like Crawford.

Re: Kieff
I know it's been talked about in another way, but how about Keef for Bennett and Payne? Maybe work something with draftpicks (right to swap first rounders with protection?), and fillers if need be.
We get two young guys, and I've been high on Payne's strech 4/5 capabilities, good 3 pt%, insane vertical, not allergic to rebounding and playing defense, improved every yr in school, good citizen. I always thought he could be a very good Frye replacement. Bennett seemed to come around a bit lately, and while he was not worth the pick wasted on him thats not his fault. I think he could still be an OK (bench?) player with a bit of develpment and more playing time. This way we get two young guys in our need of position who can battle it out for the possibility of earning a starting job, plus it"s a bit of an insurance if Telly is not fully healthy. We have one/two years to decide who to keep from our forward rotation while they are cheap, and we save about 1 mill/year in the short term, and keep our payroll/flexibility for the near future. Might also get a bit worse as we lose the best bball player in the deal, but hey at least we get a better draft pick than 13/14.
They get a bit more polished PF with a very nice mid range game to complement their team, plus contract which can come in handy when they have to max out their young studs.
Thoughts?

I'd probably do that. I like Payne and you never know the potential of Bennett. I'm guessing they want a more established PF though. And those guys are kind of in the age range of Minnesota's rebuild. But I would love to see KG get into Markieff's face if he acted up. As I've said before though, it was always Marcus, and Kieff was usually pretty respectful, so I don't want to start lumping them together like some do.
