Kieff certainly has a golden opportunity. I wonder if he is too much of a knucklehead to take advantage of it.

Wow!!! All we need is for Kieff to step up.....smh.

Kieff is a non rebounding, jump shooting (not very well) black hole ball stopper when in the post....he is horrible, but maybe he is good enough to keep us at that 9th seed for 5 more years...

I'm not sure who pissed you off today but there's no need to take it out on us. Everything you've been saying today is either negative toward the team or other posters.

I've always been fascinated with the platoon idea. I'm surprised it's never been tried at the NBA level. I think it would actually work quite well.

So disagreeing is negative......OK. I guess I will be negative then. SMH at something I think ridiculous is "taking it out on other posters"? OK.

Not falling for a statistical truth that is a reality lie; makes me a bad poster today....yea OK.

I could care less what garbage of a stat someone posts about the Suns being better than they appear to be; if you like it, more power to you, but I will call it like I see it. All of a sudden I am supposed to be happy about Kieff and PJ starting because of some stat....I don't think so. I am not sorry that I am not the sheep some people seek on this thread to make themselves feel better about their point of view.

If I disagree with any poster or post, I am going to let it be known, no matter who says it. I will be sure to refer back to this thread as the season goes on.

I'm happy to see that we are doing a good job. We are currently a .500 team and that is much better than we had anticipated :D

You must not be aware of some of the starters in this league. Wiggins is a starter for Minnesota and Oladipo for Orlando. Those lineups you talk about accumulated that +11 and +21 in 1 game each, the Wolves for 19.3 minutes and the Magic in 18 minutes.

That's why I laughed the other day when our best +/- in the following lineup: Booker,Devin - Goodwin,Archie - Price,Ronnie - Teletovic,Mirza - Weems,Sonny

But of course that was 5 minutes in one game

Didn't our 2009-10 team pretty much play with a platoon system?

So the gist of your argument is, if your starting unit outscores other team's starting units, at the 5th best rate in the league, that doesn't matter to you if you don't like some of our players. I think we get it. I don't think you are going to convince anyone with that being the premise of your argument.

I don't imagine we will stay that high in the rankings, but that's where we are right now.

How was our starting five against Dallas' starting five when they were on the floor together? How was our starting five against Det. And our starting five has had the luxury of playing depleted teams starting five as well..........

That would be really cool. Since you're interested in that stat, I trust you'll do your research and figure it out.

Please get back to us when you do! I'm genuinely interested in what you find.

Did you know that you're not even interpreting your own link properly? Those aren't starting 5s my friend, and you're quoting data from lineups that have played <20 minutes together

And our starting five wasn't out there much against Dallas, since Kieff immediately got into foul trouble. Interesting we got blown out in that game while missing Kieff a large part.

If Kieff doesn't play tonight and we lose I'm sure that will have had nothing to do with it. It will be because we didn't start Warren and play Booker more.

Kieff is valuable to this team, even when he is playing uninspired basketball. I hate it. But it is true.

There is no gist. Our starting five is hot garbage and needs to be changed, period; so to post their 8 game ranking and a 4-4 record (beating 2 half depleted team) is laughable.....Imo.

I definitely wouldn't call it hot garbage, but your second point is a fair point.

Hyperbole.... If Bled and Knight aren't going buck wild, we look terrible. I mean, just about everyone has complained about the lack of spacing, lack of flow, lack of go to guy, lack of shooting, lack of identity, lack of continuity, lack consistency, and no offesive identity at all, then all of a sudden someone posts something about our starting 5 being a top 5 unit makes what we have seen not a fact :-?

And then some people here are believing Kieff is the missing piece....wow! Mr. fadeaway jumper...not me.

Easy on the fouls Leuer. The bench is thin at PF.

Well, we have a big hole at PF without Kieff. I like Leuer, but not for major minutes.

He's getting used to a starting role, it will take some time.
