What's up with the Suns' D? I rated Knight and Bledsoe as top notch perimeter defenders but their defensive on-off ratings are pretty weak this year. Too much concentration on offensive gunning to play tenacious D?

A couple of things, but remember also, they gave up 56 pts to Curry/Thompson (gave up 135 points to the Warriors). That will mess up anyone's stats.

Make your predictions now and see if they come true. Winner gets a firm hand shake and a gentle slap on the butt.

I'll start first:

Suns win 111-103
- Bledsoe 21/7/4
- Knight- 18/9/3
- Tucker- 6/6/2
- Kieff- 16/4/2

One crazy game against the Warriors where they hit 9 3's and didn't barely miss a shot in the first qtr against our stats didn't help that rating. Bledsoe is a good defender...gambles a bit much at time. Knight is a decent defender though he may struggle some against bigger guards.

1 out of every 14 games Markieff shoots better than 50%.

Get Leuer / Teletovic in.

In other news, Kobe having a great shooting night for his standards this year, currently at 38.4%, almost 8 % above his avg. Of course it's against the Sixers though.

That was a bad 3 minutes when the bench came in.

It seems we keep getting these teams that started out badly right when they have started to play well. Brooklyn winning their last two home games, against Boston and Detroit, and nearly beating the Cavs on the road, lost by a LeBron shot at the buzzer. Right after facing the Pelicans right when they had just beaten the Spurs handily.

Yes, starters all at +3 or 5 except for Bledsoe who is at -5 because he stayed in with bench players, who are mostly all at -8 with Booker at -10.

Bledsoe's acrobatic lay ups aren't falling for him lately. Hope he manages to sort it soon.
