On holiday in Penang, Malaysia. Had a great time. Checked the score a few times, and saw we lost. Back at the hotel now, thoroughly entertained by the game thread reactions to the loss

This post now says it was posted 5 minutes ago, but I feel like I already read it an hour ago. And in the Hornacek does not know math thread, it says all of GMATs recent posts were posted today, but many of them I could swear I read days before.

Does the forum seem to be acting a little odd lately to anyone else??

It's been acting odd for me for weeks. Unread/read issue I talked about with you is still going on. Just adds to the depression.

The notification thing seems screwed up. If I know I have read them all, I just click on "Mark all read" which is an option when you check notifications.

The team, sadly, has become almost unwatchable much of the time. They need a shake up. As fans, we need it too. Right now, it looks like they don't care very much, so why watch? I agree with a lot of you...why spend the time. I still tape every game, but many of them just get deleted.

Hard to take my own advice. It's safe to say we're all a little depressed after our plunge in December.

was it the owner who pushed for Knight's move or signing Thomas or what happened?
it was weird to see the franchise moves, like McD went for assets and then you burned them so fast like you had a winner, when you just had a solid season...

as a Knicks fan I have to say depression is a very common emotion.

I think you guys have hope however.

Devin Booker seems like a special kind of talent who will blossom similar to how Klay Thompson blossomed.

Suns always been a respectable franchise and will come back to the West as competitor agains. I was a fan of the Leandro Barbosa/Marcus Banks days....secretly a Marbury fan before he became a Knick. But whatever, keep your head up guys. Devin Booker will develop into something amazing.

The level of pathetic-ness this team has reached at this point should not bring depression, but laughter.

I also laugh at how terrible Tyson Chandler's defence is. I wish I could get paid 14mil a year to stand in a spot and not move

This is as bad as I can remember, honestly.

Worse than Porter + Hunter days too.

Just directionless from top to bottom.

The guys on the biggest contracts:

Knight - we don't know if he IS a PG, cos he sure as hell doesn't look like one.

Chandler - horrible play on a horrible deal and we immediately regret it.

Bledsoe - the gem for McD and when healthy our best player, but he's going to have played in just 155/246 possible Suns games (63% since joining the team). Maybe this is one our medical guys missed?

Markieff - the guy on arguably the best bargain in the league DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE...My god this is depressing

Just after the loss to Philly everyone was asking for paper bag avatars. It looked like oh so happy days with Kerrsed's epic tank picture. Where has all the joy in losing gone !!

Yes, depressing season.

I wasn't completely sure about the roster, but I thought that it was a decent roster with balance.

I really thought that we were going to fight for the playoffs, but the team haven't had motivation. They are not that bad individually but like a team they are just horrible.

The most depressing thing to me is that we have been excessively PATIENT with a lot of circumstances, and all of them are getting worse and worse.

If you don't enjoy watching the team play, then why literally waste your time watching them? No, really. I'm not saying this in a condescending/patronizing way. Some people may say that I'm encouraging people to become fairweather fans, but screw it. Spend your time doing what you enjoy; if this Suns team isn't enjoyable anymore, then do something else with your time :)!

I don't catch nearly as many games as I used to, because until our fortunes change, spending 2.5-3 hours watching a mediocre squad isn't really high on my itinerary. Doesn't mean I don't love the team. It just means I'm not wasting my time.

Great post! I guess its the diehard fans that get hurt the most! So to all zealous suns fans out there.. lets all step back and take a deep breath.. theres nothing more we can do about the team. Good thing the AZ Cardinals is there to pick up the pieces of my broken heart just in time :)
