Big "no"s to Thibs or Majerle.

Luke Walton...really?

Many have been mentioning it. I wouldn't mind JVG that much.

There were some rumors that Memphis letting go David Joerger if they continue to struggle. I would love to take a shot at him.

I'm on the fire Jeff Hornacek bandwagon now. Not because I think he's a terrible coach or anything, but because our guys don't seem to respect him. Fire him, and have someone new come in and maybe the team will get behind this new coach and play together as a team.

I like it because he would be play our young guys. He gives high praise for Booker and Warren but just don't know if he will get the best out of our players.. Same as Hornacek.. Too laid back.

I do remember him saying that Booker is already a starting quality SG.

Other underrated candidates rarely brought up: Kenny Atkinson assistant coach of the Hawks. Budenholzer vouches for this guy as a specialist in player development and communication. Jim Boylen- associate head coach of the Bulls. If he gets tired of playing second fiddle to Hoiberg he could be a hot commodity on the HC market with a Spurs pedigree( He was actually supplanted by Messina who I think is being groomed to take over as Pop's successor)

Here's a better question...how many of you actually trust Robert Sarver to make the right decision?

And your kidding yourselves if you think McD makes thee decisions by himself...Sarver still plays huge roles in these type of firing and hiring moves imo.

What about Eddie Johnson? Sure ill miss his colour commentary, but he knows the city, knows the team and definitely knows his basketball stuff. Great personality, so that players will like him, but I also get the feeling he aint no pushvover and will not take crap from noone.

Easily Walton.
You are missing Tyronn Lue in that list.

Jeff Hornacek had a defeatist attitude about you?
“I don’t know what it was. I’m with the Miami Heat now. I don’t got nothing to say or no words for the Phoenix Suns organization.”

How many former players does it take for people to realize how terrible the coaching staff and management is right now? Pathetic. GET RID OF HORNACEK ASAP. He lost the team last year. No one listens to him anymore. Any coach that has self respect would have suspended Marcus Morris last year for what he did during a game. These players have no respect for Hornacek and Hornacek is soft. Get a new coach in there.

You are basing this judgment on the words of Gerald Green, a career journeyman who washed out with several franchises and even left the NBA for awhile before enjoying the greatest success of his career with Hornacek and the Phoenix Suns?

Ponder that for a little while ...

That is not to say that a change may not eventually be in order, but why should anyone care what Gerald Green and the Morris twins have to say? They are immature me-first players who know little about winning in the NBA.

If the Suns were to make a change, I would not mind trying Majerle, but, really, anyone who believes that the real issue here is coaching is just overestimating the talent and functionality of this roster (forget what Mark Jackson says on the hype-filled ESPN broadcasts). A new coach might light a temporary fire, but even in that scenario, we will probably be having the same discussion six months from now, or twelve months from now, unless Phoenix makes significant roster changes.

Johnson could be good, but the Suns would probably want someone with coaching experience.

Plus, he might prefer to remain a broadcaster, especially with this roster.

I would prefer somebody who is associated with Greg Popovich and has received some of the SSOL-era fundamentals from Popovich.

Yeah, that's not gonna happen.
