Also, if you do go to La Piazza al Forno, tell them Kerrsed with the huge sausage stick from the old neighborhood sent you, and they will give you 1 free "AreyoucrazyorhighondrugswhodafukisdisguydontmakemeSliceyou look".

Wait are you talking about the pizza place by filmbar or AWA?

Also, I don't know why but I assumed you didn't live in the phx area.

My go to spots in phx are probably Cornish Pasty and the Main Ingredient Alehouse. Cornish isn't really like any other places outside of phx (bonus points for having a nice owner). TMI is super simple food done incredibly well and they only play old school hip hop.

Great idea for a thread man.

I'm ironically watching Sausage Party right now but I'm definitely going to come back and post, a lot. I've been to about 40 countries in the past 3.5yr and I've eaten a HEAP of different foods...generally taking photos of anything tasty and different. So I'll chuck some pics up soon!

Please recommend places in London. I'll probably be there in June.

I'll revisit this thread if I ever go to Phoenix as I hope.

DeFalco's Deli on Scottsdale Rd just south of Thomas has killer pizza. They don't short you on topping and it's greasy as f*ck. Excellent sammiches and pasta as well.

I'm vego so this is basically heaven to me:

Chickpeas are soooooo underutilized in Western cuisine. Although they are becoming more and more popular.

Love me some Indian food. You are vegetarian? Is that what you are saying? I just had a nice appetizer with three boats of hummus yesterday. Good stuff. Not really Indian food but made from chickpeas.

Yep, I'm vegetarian. Hummus is the best, I eat it with everything. Luckily in Melbourne there's a pretty big Lebanese population so we get heaps of really good Middle Eastern food. There's an amazing Israeli place just around the corner from me.

I agree, on both counts. We have (Vegan) roasted chickpea tacos weekly and 10 years ago I didn't have a clue what they were. Hummus might be an acquired taste for some but chickpeas are so versatile and don't have to end up looking like baby food.

So many fruit and veg can be used in really cool ways. I still want to make this, it blew my mind when I first saw it (PS River Cottage is top notch)

I know it's very pedestrian and not as fancy as some of the places you guys have mentioned but Azteca Bakery in downtown Phoenix on 7th Ave just north of Grand Avenue has some of the best green chili. it's like crack I've recently had to make a decision not to eat it as much as I do.

I think Bledsoe needs some better recommendations for food other than Taco Bell, Jack in the Box and Arbys. Probably not what he was looking for from his fans (though probably something a little healthier than the pizza joints that have been mentioned here)...

Well I was going to refer to my first post where I had mentioned Torchy's tacos (a local place in Austin that is popular with , but I noticed the images are gone. Maybe I deleted them out of my photobucket account which messed them up.

Anyway, here is there Thanksgiving addition...

And here is a pic again of their normal menu, which has all sorts of different taco concoctions.

Hey guys, I know I said I wouldn't be on this thread for a while, but I lost about 8-10lbs and I'll be going to Phoenix in a few weeks from now.
Someone mentioned what is the best all you can eat sushi in Phoenix? Well I know of a place called Mido Sushi I believe it's called, I went there a couple years ago and it used to be 19.99 all you can eat. I went there every couple days for three months straight and then they raised the price to 21 all you can eat. I went back last Christmas and it was 24.99 for all you can eat. I would still recommend it if you eat as much sushi as I do. I go to sushi places all the time here in Portland and I normally spend $70-80 for two people.

They have really good reviews on Google too.
