They could tie us, and it's not one extra ping pong ball. It's splitting the 2nd and 3rd odds..equal chances...the split comes down to an odd number which means their is a coin flip which determines who get that extra ball but also who gets the higher pick in case two teams hop us dropping us out of top 3. The Lakers in that case lose, but if they won the coin flip, and we drop out, the tie at 2 would give Philly 4th if two teams jump us both and us 5th, and if three teams jump and knock all top 3 teams out, Philly would get 5th and we get 6.

If we lose here, we are guaranteed 5th at worst, and Lakers have a bigger chance of losing their pick this year and in 2019 which would be nice for both of us.
