It's a group decision obviously ;)

Well put Mr T.... and certainly less caustic than my sporadic spew on this topic.

The other 'mole' has been well received over on .net... they are celebrating as if they recruited a champion bowler and are cheering on every strike. Good for them. The info is still available to all w/o the pointless drivel that was oozing out of here.

I just want to hear we are trading JRich in a Chandler deal (somehow), resigning Nash to the same amount as Kidd (8-10 mill) and resigning Stat (and keeping him). Then starting.....

Nash/Dragic
LB/Sasha/Tucker
Clark/Dudley
Amare/Lou/Frye
Chandler/Lopez/Frye

Let Hill go in peace. Ariza leave LA. Artest to Cleveland.

Then I'll be happy

Channing Frye (unrestricted, Portland)

Portland opted to turn him loose in a bid for cap space, and Frye has two big items in his favor: He can shoot and he can play center.

He's not a good defensive player and probably needs to be less ambitious with the shooting, but his numbers have been much better when he's played the center position (his first and third seasons) rather than power forward (his second and fourth seasons). As a floor-spacing backup 5 who can also play extended minutes at the 4, Frye seems like a good bargain pickup, especially since he's well-liked in the locker room and is only 26.

Hmmm..... Center?? Platoon he and Lopez to save money and Amare. He is 6'10.5, can shoot, spreading the floor for Amare. He is a half inch shorter than Sheed at 26 this could be worth a try. He won't be great on defense, but we have had worse. If he can make it tough on centers and play good PnR defense, we may have found a C.

I'm kind of hesitant of a guy who's 6'11" and has started 94 games with a career average of 0.6blk in 27mins per

I'd MUCH rather Wilcox or Ratliff

^ Sheed if we're still "contending." If not go for Frye.

Might not be so bad, but this is pre-injury it seems

He POSTERISED Burke...haha

Chandler looks like he could be Sheed like at 1/5 the cost. Neither rebound particularly well, and i dare say he'd have more shotblocking chances next to Amare haha

I'd say, don't blatently say things, but give hints to us from time to time. Like if there is speculation on a topic, you should chime in and say something like "look more closely at this" or "this is not just a rumor" or something like that. It would give us more insight and at the same time keep the source somewhat confidential.

Sheed is still a very good post defender though when he's motivated. Frye just looks soft.

Anyone can posterise Burke. What happened to that guy anyway?

^yeah agreed with Austin. Subtlety was a little lost on IHG towards the end there, but I know he meant well

So watching that mix...I blame Nate Robinson clearly for ruining this guy's potential - he pushed the guy into him that crumpled his knee. Atta boy Nate, another reason to think there's a massive douche in that tiny body

He was nasty pre-injury. If he were still that good, then he wouldn't be available. I watched Por a few times last year and he can knock down that outside 18ft'r with regularity, if left open. He doesn't need to be tough down in the paint, that'll be Amare's job. I think he'd be better in our offense and the ESPN article said he does better at the center position. All I know is, I would rather have him and Amare than Biedrins and Wright down there!!

All day long! But, the only way I believe we get Chandler is if we can move Jrich. Nash, Amare, JRich and Chandler is too much money. Nash takes a Kidd type contract ext. Amare takes a little less than the max we could still be competitive, plus resign Grant with some of the MLE.

Nash/Drag
JRich/LB
Hill/Dud/Clark
Amare/Lou/Clark
Frye/Lopez

Plus we can run some

Nash
LB
JRich
Clark
Amare

Do you guys think we can make the playoffs, I do!! Hou and NO is reeling..... I think Chandler puts us in the top 4 in the West. If Ariza leaves LA, you never know. That is why I think we shouldn't let the media influence us into throwing in the towel.

Nash
JRich
Hill
Stat
Chandler......is a VERY good line-up correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah Jmac1 that's a good lineup. I agree we have to move JRich though. A defensive 2 would be ideal. With the way Gentry brought Dragic along towards the end of last season, I hope that Dudley, Rolo and Dragic would be serviceable role players by mid-season. Hopefully towards the season Clark would be serviceable as well. We don't need him to put up like 15/8 or anything, something like 10/4 off the bench is more than enough.

I'm quite intrigued at what Clark could give in his first season.

I really want us to trade J - Rich. If we can find some way to deal his contract for even peanuts I would be happy. I would then use the extra cash to sign Anthony Parker and Rodney Carney. They are cheap. They can shoot. And they can defend. I'd also trade for Chandler.

Nash/Dragic
Parker/Barbosa/Carney
Hill/Dudley/Carney
Stoudemire/Amundson/Clark
Chandler/Lopez

I've said this in an other thread...

Trade Jason Richardson to the bulls for John Salmons and Tim Thomas... Come on Kerr, call the bulls!!!

I'm coming to the conclusion that JRich won't be traded. We aren't hearing anything about a trade, right?? Maybe it will happen then..Ha ha. I just say F' em all. Keep Amare and make GS regret the day they screwed us and then we can thank them at the same time!! The fact that we are looking for big men, probably means that Chandler is out! I just read Sarver and Stat was at the Mercury game lasy night, maybe this is a good sign!! :D
