Odd ... so many people hated the idea of the Cleveland trade. Now that it looks like the Suns will get severely low-balled or have to keep Amare, they're wishing Cleveland was back in the picture.

Suns really screwed the pooch by letting Cleveland leave the negotiating table. Better hope another team shows up.

Okay, way I understand what is going on now is the Suns decided not to do any trades and probably will go back to negotiating an extension.

and better to NOT make a trade then make a horrible trade

if the Cavs were not offering Hickson - HOW can the Suns make that trade?

if the Heat are offering a bunch of crap - but barely gets them under the cap - who cares

only trade from the Heat that made sense was ONeal, Beasley and two number 1's for Amare and JRich

Cavs were offering Hickson but pulled it at last minute when Suns STILL couldn't decided and said it would probably go down the wire, yet again.

I love it, youre a fraud its so obvious its not even funny. You put this huge front on like youre some super cool beas, but yet you havent said ONE thing in this whole two weeks that a.) we didnt already know or b.) couldnt be made up. I mean honestly, you post the most vague "inside info" ive ever seen in my entire life. The best part was a couple days ago when no news was coming through THE REAL MEDIA and you go " yea sarver and kerr are getting pissed about the leaks so my source has to be careful"

You think sarver and kerr have the time to be in a secret room spreading false rumors to certain employees "Ok guys, real gm is getting way to much insider info, lets leak these false rumors and catch the employee thats spilling his guts" give me a frickin break.

Just because you PM a mod and tell him you have a source doesnt mean anything. I have a friend who knows arron nelson on myspace, I could easily get the wedding pictures that all the suns attended and be like hey this is me... I know aaron nelson. thats my source.

I'm utterly happy that we did not do the Cleveland trade. I don't understand what the Suns are doing though. We stopped negotiating with Amare and drove him to the point where he wants to be traded. Even his own agent and Amare says he will not play anothre game with the Suns.

I have not heard that Miami talks are dead. That doesn't mean they are not. I have heard nothing about a GSW trade.

What happens now? Does he walk this summer and leave us with nothing?

I bet they settle on 3 years. That is all Amare would get on the open markey with the CBA expiring.

3 year extension ~ 15 mill per(so 62 million over 4) would be good to me!

Sounds like Cle didn't want to give up Hickson and the Suns didn't like the return offer, so they said no and Cleveland moved to plan B.

If what Amare wants is market price, extending him would have given Kerr all the leverage he wanted in the world in trade talks. And he'd be gone by now. So, this is gonna end up JJ fiasco the Sequel, now we just dodged the Gasol Giftwrap the Sequel.

Who said they were offering Hickson?
Gambo says they weren't offering Hickson . Just because it was reported as Hickson, maybe it wasn't Hickson.

And believe it or not - if you stack up Suns rumors between Bucher, Gambo, Stein, Ford, Wojonarowski - I would bet money Gambo has a better track record then all of them when it comes to the Suns . Gambo has a pretty solid source with the Suns
