The Blazers are in dire need of a capable backup at the center position, and are extremely excited to pick up such a young, talented and cheap prospect this late in the draft.

The Blazers will select

The Wizards select Gerald Henderson and Kurt Thomas!

Dirty, I guess you missed my last post. Any interest in moving Ryan Anderson? I'll offer you Biedrins/Matthews for Rudy/Anderson.

Major upgrade at C, allows you to push KG back to PF and JJ to the bench, and a decent G/F for the bench in Matthews.

Although my team would look out of shape after such a trade, I'm planning on making a major move if this one goes through (hint hint TASTIC).

The Pistons would like to invest in our future with this pick, so welcome...

Image

Larry Sanders!

Larry was picked in the middle of the first round in real life this past June. He has tremendous upside and is 21 years old, with 3 years of college ball under his belt. He is super athletic and an effective finisher, with all scouts saying that given a couple years, he will develop into a starting quality big. He also shows great rebounding awareness and shot-blocking IQ.

We plan on giving the majority of backup PF/C minutes to Tyson Chandler (will play PF/C for us) and Al Thornton (will play SF/PF for us), but we feel that we can put Sanders on the floor every night for 10 minutes or so.

307. Knicks are up

Cavs have 1 skipped pick

Then:
308. Jazz
309. Pacers

We'll have to nail down specifics but it'll revolve around bidding, to make it as realistic as possible.

I don't wanna leak much before too much is figured out but TASTIC and I have discussed some logistics on making this a "real" league going forward (not simulations or any of that stuff but ultra-realistic team management - cap rules, trades, then after the season signings etc - so low maintenance but realistic for us NBA buffs). But yeah that part is in the works so stay tuned.

I am very interested in acquiring Derrick Favors using Jason Thompson as the major piece. I would listen to any offer that doesn't:
1. involve my current head coach
2. involve the remainder of my starting five (ie Steph Curry, Rip Hamilton, Marc Gasol, Luc Mbah Moute)

The remainder of my roster includes Eric Maynor, Antonio McDyess, Leon Powe and Gordon Hayward.

I need some good help on the backcourt right now. Wings specially. And considering Favors was my second pick, I would need a little bit more than that. So no for now.

Miklo can we start some kind of thread with people's roster? I keep going through threads to take a look at them. It's kind of annoying

hey sd...Just been checking some numbers on a potential trade offer, but do you know Matthews is on the hook next year for $9m?! So yeah...might wanna factor that in :) Having a hard time sorting something that doesn't lowball either of us and we both stay cap conscious...

That'd be much appreciated Moochie, cheers

Just wanted to thank Miklo for doing the Lion's share of maintenance etc in running this thing, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say it's greatly appreciated

Now...Dez, any interest in moving Manu? Could offer something like Jack + Nocioni for Manu + your last pick?

Nah I'll pass thanks Calvin...and not overly close...that's my 3rd, 5th and 7th picks for your 2nd, 7th and 11th...

Can't tell if you're trying to contend or build for the future? basically have a perfect split of youth and age...

I'm not sure how to attach documents so i'll just copy paste the rosters. As far as I know, they are up to date but i might have missed a trade or two.

Moochie, +20 brownie points mate - outstanding

I'm digging the Nets chance to win it all this year...some other teams look rock solid too (Miklo....curses) and the Raptors if they sort the C spot out

In terms of best 'young' teams I really like the makeup of the Nuggets...WTF happened with the Kings? Waste having that much talent unused basically...

I believe Jazz have been skipped...so with my last pick I'm nabbing a nice young banger with some upside and a cheap contract

The Pacers are very pleased to welcome the last player to their roster, 6'9" PF/C Darrell Arthur
