Well, if the Knicks somehow unload Amare, their chances I think go up to like 40% and I would call them the favorite. I don't know if I think the Cavs are that much higher than the Suns either. So Knicks are 0 or 40, Heat are probably 60 (or 30 if Knicks unload Amare), and Cavs are more like 30 if Amare stays in NY, and 20 if not, and we are probably like 20 with Knicks having no chance and 10 if they do have a chance.

Maybe this is easier

Amare traded for cap space

Knicks 40%
Heat 30%
Cavs 20%
Suns 10%

Amare not traded

Heat 60%
Cavs 30%
Suns 10%

If Frye can get 8 million a year for 4 years... Tucker will get paid also.

I'm actually happy for Frye, to cash in while he can. He getting same money as Dragic, kudos to Frye and best of luck (except against the Suns).

Yeah I never thought PJ would get more than 4-5m but after Frye's ridiculous deal anything is possible. If PJ only gets a 3/12-type deal it would be crazy not to match. Even in year 2 when Warren takes over that's still manageable backup $ for PJ.

Tucker is better than Meeks, and he got +6m$/y

I think somebody will easily throw the MLE to PJ, maybe the Raps actually

I will match 4m$/y but... the MLE for 3 years and fully guaranteed... probably nope If I'm Phoenix.

It's not going to happen, but imagine if there was a tweet from Woj that read something along the lines of "#Suns have agreed on a deal for LeBron, Melo, AND Bledsoe to contracts". McD/Sarver would be turn into NBA royalty very quickly. I don't think there would be a better sports tweet in the history of Twitter.

If we somehow pulled LeBron it would surely include Bledsoe in the tweet as well also signing, and Paul would have clients lining up for his services.

Thought Frye might have taken a little less to stay, considering we payed him to sit out a whole year, and supported him through his recovery. I guess money talks, after all.

Strange move for the Magic, considering they already have a stretch PF in Nicholson who is no slouch.

Payton
Oladipo, Fournier
Harris, Harkless
Gordon, Nicholson
Vujevic, Frye (20 mpg?)

Guess its time for Markieff to earn that next contract. Barring any trades, Marcus probably becomes our new stretch PF (behind Markieff), which I think is a good role for him. Also, that frees up SF minutes for Warren.

Upon further thought, if there is any truth to the Dragic/Rondo stuff, I could imagine this being what happens. It's a 3 way involving the Kings, and they end up with Rondo and we get Thomas and Stauskas, because I think McD was high on him.

If this is the case, I still don't like losing Dragic at all, but I think getting those guys might not be a terrible deal (while I think just getting Rondo doesn't seem like a fit at all). Maybe we get a pick too.

If LeBron has told us "if I sign, you need to acquire xxx, keep Bledsoe, don't care about that Dragic guy..." I'll have a really hard time rooting for him. He clearly has no idea when it comes to winning basketball strategy.

I would hope that he has learned that a high priced big 3 with no depth is not the way to a ring - that you need good players, sure, but the less you pay them, the more of those guys you can have. That's why I don't think he cares much to play with the other max guys. I would think if he had any brains at all, he'd be petitioning for "young, value" guys, like Bledsoe etc.

Perhaps the Goran trade with IND is Goran + Morri for Stephenson + West

Bledsoe, Ennis
Stephenson, Green
James, Warren
West, FA
Plumlee, Len

Yeah... For some reason I really don't like that. Really just rather let our young guys develop and sign a PF.

I think his two rings might account for some winning strategy

LBJ controls the ball alot of the game. I don't think Dragic would be able to transform into a true SG plus his value is high and we need help down low. Bledsoe is also LBJ's friend and shares a similar agent. So Bledsoe doesn't get traded if LBJ comes to PHX.

If the Suns get Lebron, I hope he brings Bosh or Gasol with him. If he brings either one of them, the Suns probably will not have to clear much salary at all and be such a deep team it is ridiculous. They would still be deep if Carmelo came along with him, but not as deep.

Let's sign Lebron, Melo and Love and then trade them for draft picks. No better time to start thinking about the future. These guys are at peak trade value right now. Can't wait any longer.

Dude's been to the playoffs like every year of his career, 4 straight finals appearances and 2 titles. What are you even saying?
