I had him for awhile in the h2h league. Any guy that can get the assists he is capable of getting is worth it. When I saw Jrue back I moved on from him, but it looks like he's still doing well. How deep is that league you are in? Any idea what happened to AD tonight?
Yea Davis had a shoulder injury.
I'm in a 12 man league so not too big. But thing is that I struggle for assists. My best PG is IT. I have Mo Williams too but he's on and off really.
I screwed up big time drafting Harden over Durant and Griffin in my league, I think that's gonna bite me in the ass later.
Yeah, that Harden pick is tough. Durant being out has hurt whoever drafted him because you really need that top pick to produce. High volume shooter with that low of fg% is a killer. But most people drafted him higher.
I always typically struggle with assists and steals, so every year I try to remember that while drafting, and then I see some drafters, especially the more experienced on take two starting pgs in their first 3-4 picks. So this year I got Westbrook and George Hill. Also had Calderon but dropped him. Now I have the Cory Joseph who is the backup in Toronto. You might check him out if you're desperate for assists. Look at his last 8 games or so.
Another great thing to remember is bigs who get assists. That's why a guy like Griffin is good even though he doesn't get a ton of blocks.
Another guy for steals and assists is TJ McConnell but he might not be available.
BTW I just re-read your post and your best PG is IT? How did that happen? You might see who leads in the assist category in your league and see if they have any deficiencies in areas you are strong with an offer a trade for their 2nd or 3rd best assist guy.

How about that Rondo guy though. Loving him so far.
Looking to move one of my wings or guards for a Big man with good %'s and gets a block or so. Hit me up with offers.

I really didn't like any of the PGs left on the board after my first round or two so I just held off on getting a PG altogether while picking up players who excel at rebounds, blocks etc. Plus I had Harden so I thought he would get me a lot of assists too since he did most of the playmaking for Houston in years past.
I actually had McConnell and then I dropped him and someone snatched him up immediately. I also had Jack and I dropped him and that same person snatched him up immediately too. Dropping Jack is looking like a huge mistake.
Funny you mention Joseph, I was actually looking at him yesterday. I was trying to decide between him and Dellavadova who is putting up a good number of assists as well.
If you have Westbrook, you are pretty much set in pts, assists and rebounds lol.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

That's my worst category too, and I can't figure out why I am so bad. I mean I have some bigs that shoot poorly, but they rarely shoot them, and then I have Westbrook as my only really high usage player, and he is good at FT%.
I even specifically took Kanter despite not being a great block shot guy (I have Whiteside) because he is like a 90% FT shooter.

I took a guy named Andre Drummond, who is killing the boards, but averaging 2.9/7.2 FT......

It's honestly more fun for basketball because of that.

Wow, that is crazy. How are you doing it? What kind of contests are you entering? Football it's kind of tough to win, but I've been playing fantasy for years and following the nfl for years so I figured I'd be ok. But I'm just ok.

I have done maybe 1 or 2 leagues but I didn't win much from that. Did a couple of 50/50s and that worked out really well for me.
But mostly it's been all head to head. Less complicated and easier to win that way IMO.

I ended up picking up Igoudala over both Dellavadova and Joseph and he's actually doing pretty decent assist wise tonight thus far.

Drafting Myles Turner where I did was a terrible, terrible move. I probably be in 2nd place now if I had just picked anybody else. My hopes for future upside are riding on Chandler Parsons now... ugh.
Loving the Porzingis pick though.

Wow good stuff. Being doing Draftkings since week 1 for football. I probably put $120 or so into it. I'm mostly entering the big contest where winner takes like $100k. I haven't won yet, lol.
I thought basketball would be easier, but it's not. I actually doubled my money in one contest where I had Anthony Davis in but he was DNP for that game. It's too bad, I could have made a ton of money had I put anyone else in in that contest.
I'll probably start doing 50/50's.

I put $25 in for football but I usually do the $3 leagues that pay out $100K to the winner, but the real problem is that over 400K people are in these leagues. But they usually pay out the top 20-30% finishers, so sometimes I will win like $7. So I've played 1-2 contests per week and am down to $18 from $25.

Re: The 2015 Suns Board Fantasy Thread
Yeah I been doing the $3 leagues as well. I've been pretty consistent winning at least $6 to $7 as long as I do a little homework and check my lineups before gametime. Where I lose is when a player doesn't play, and some reason that has happened quite frequently for me.

I dropped down to last in FT% today after last night. Whiteside 2-9 from the line. Luckily he had 10 blocks.

I'm the last person that's ever lucky for anything so I don't even bother with those big $150k leagues or anything, I know I won't win no matter what.
But yea, win of those suckers and your pretty much set.

You and me both. I went to Vegas for Halloween and I was playing some Texas Hold Em. Ended up losing not once, not twice, but three times to a four-of-a-kind. The first two times happened back to back from hands I was playing against. I think the odds of getting a four of a kind is like 1 in 1000 maybe add another zero. The odds of losing back to back to four of a kinds has to be astronomical. Then having to repeat that on the 2nd day playing is just rubbing it in.
