one good thing that comes out of this embarrassment is that we find out Booker and TJ are needle movers, they could turn a historical bad team into a somewhat competitive team, that is no small feat given how absolutely horrible this team is without them.

If the Suns, as constructed, get to 23 wins I would be very very surprised. They're on pace for 14 wins right now. And those 4 wins they have were when they had Booker and Warren not injured. If Booker and Warren are out for any length of time, the Suns may be lucky to get to 10 wins.

You should account for the fact that the Suns are leading the whole league in the strength of schedule. They had the toughest schedule of all 30 teams, in each game facing a .539 team on average.

When you are this poorly constructed, you will always have the toughest schedule, because any team you play is going to be better than you.

Your own record is mostly irrelevant, only the records of your opponents.

I'm going to the Dallas game next week. I'm gonna wear a suit made of Charmin rolls and hold up Ayton signs.

Cheer up...we're still at least a year away from needing to restart the rebuild with a "Booker requested" trade.

If we get a top 5 pick, we'll have a top 5 pick and cap space after we stretch Anderson.

If we get a 5-10 pick, we'll have a lottery pick + the bucks pick to use as trade bait and cap space after we stretch Anderson.

Let's not **** that up.

Yeah, we need to wait until Dec 15th, as ugly as it may be until then. If they got rid of the coach early in the season again, especially in his first season, we would never be able to hire any sort of established coach at all. Plus Prunty is bad and things would get worse. With continued turnover like that Booker would certainly want out...anyone worth a damn wouldn't want to come here.

I hope they lose by 60. Would be a sight to see, and non suns fans can finally stop talking about Booker not having any impact.

Yep - and the reason why the average is .539 is because half their games are vs. us.....

I worry that Sarver would sell the team tomorrow, that extreme happiness might cause a heart attack that kills me.

Be nice to get a real GM with the draft pick and cap space. I agree don’t do something rash. Just need to do something on 12/15.

With Anderson - probably better to not take a bad contract but damn.

I know how strength of schedule works. I'm just being pessimistic. The Suns are awful.

At the end of the season, yes, but right now we have faced a brutal schedule....at end of season, even if worst team, you will have faced a SOS against teams with a winning % slightly over 500...maybe since west is so tough this year it could get close to 510..but we are at like 539 right now.

This might just be the saddest thing i've ever read. I'm gonna go play some 2k and rectify the suns with some unrealistic trades <3

You still don't get it, The problem is the management not the players we drafted. If we Drafted Hield and Fox and Kings drafted JJ or Bender, Hield and Fox would be busts now and JJ and Bender near allstars. we ruined almost everyone, look at Mikal, he is becoming a bust right front of our eyes, he was supposed to be the guy most ready to contribute right away.

I think thats true. But I also think in the case of any rookie, Mikal included, it hard for them to succeed with no established talent/system around them.

I seriously don't want to see any more posts saying Booker is the problem. Absolutely preposterous. We are unwatchable without him. Proven time and time again.

I thought Sarver declared the rebuild over. Sure doesn't look that way to me.
