Sarver is becoming like the opposite of Jerry Colangelo. This is sad. Hell the last time the Suns signed a marquee free agent was Steve Nash when Colangelo was still part of the team. Not one big name has come here since. Maybe players really do dislike Sarver like all those reports say.

i would love for this team to make the POs and there's a better chance of that happening with dragic here this year, even if he's not giving it 100%*. that's not nothing neither

* - have you ever seen dragic not give 100%?

Please don't **** the fans.

I've never written the team before, but I plan to if he stands pat & allows Goran to leave.

Dangerous keeping him? Dangerous for Goran to yelp too, potentially kills his market value this off season.

Plus the whole media appearance yesterday seemed very disingenuous.

If reports are accurate, Suns are playing a dangerous game of trying to keep a player who sounded, to me at least, very intent on leaving.

Listening to Dragic speak yesterday, I got the sense that the relationship was irreparable, and he had absolutely made up his mind to leave.

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 9m 9 minutes ago
Dragic was even asked if trading IT would make any difference, and he responded it wouldn't. He said, "I've made up my mind".

Yes, Suns could still have an opportunity to S&T him at end of season, but even that could go awry, especially if situation gets contentious

Sean Sullivan @SeanSullivanNBA · 1m 1 minute ago
Of course, this could still be about Suns trying to re-gain some leverage in the final hour...For the team's sake, I hope that's what it is.

The bigger issue is why in the hell would Sarver want to build around 2 PG's and tie up the majority of his cap space in players 6'3 and under thats not how you win in the NBA. I get everyone likes Goran thats great but you either go with Bledsoe or Goran you cant have both and given the Goran is 4 years older and this team is at least 2-3 years away from competing the choice should be easy.

Several players joined the Nash teams that helped during the storied playoff runs (Jim Jackson, Tim Thomas, Grant Hill) on their own volition. During those years, we could not afford big name players due to the salaries committed to Nash, Marion, and Stoudemire.

If he stands pat, that means he's trying to fix this **** sinking ship. Money talks, and we have the card that lets us give him an extra 15-20m.

Unlike all of you trying to get a damn 23rd pick for our best player.

But that is not a marquee free agent. Dragic was still basically unknown at that point. All the big time players have shunned the Suns.

Man, if I didn't have my kids with me tomorrow night, I'd love to walk down to the floor area and call Goran a dick. Maybe I will anyways, if he is there.

Wouldn't be the majority of our cap space. Cap is expected to seriously increase over next few years. Would maybe be 35-40% of our cap space. Not too terrible.

Oh good, because if he isn't traded, that's a great way to start building a case to keep him.
