This is terrible.

I never expected him to sign here before free agency

Then he got my hopes up and now there's just a crushing feeling

**** that dude. Wish this never happened

The free agents next year suck anyways, this was our chance.

Now our only avenue for major improvement is through trading one of our key players

Tanking teams have it so much easier

This year. Last year too. People's dislike for him has shrouded them from seeing that he has a monster midrange game that allows him to put up some of the best numbers per touch in the league for a PF. He needs work on other areas, but he's elite at one of the toughest/rarest areas. There is a lot of lo-hanging fruit to be had when it comes to rebounding and defensive improvements for someone who is really poor at both. You have to look at his potential, and then look at the fact that even if he never improves his contract is a steal, and then ask yourself given that, who is he worth moving for? It should only be for a legit, real star in his prime, not a guy like David Lee.

And yet he nearly won 6th man of the year.

Above average for an average team doesn't matter!

don't feed these people

there's no convincing them, it's irrational

Once you want to trade Markieff and a future 1st for Langston Galloway there's no turning back

Kyle O'Quinn (who I like)

I've liked O'Quinn since his draft and would love to have him on the team. I wouldn't mind seeing if we could grab Vonleh from the Blazers, now that they signed Davis.

Yep, this too, last year we got his #1 guy in the 20s!!

Seems about right...

That's interesting. Never saw that. Makes me feel good about getting him back over here.

He doesn't make a ton of sense for our team, but somebody has to sign KJ McDaniels. Can he play the 3 for us?

Whatever you do don't freak out and sign David West.

Aldridge saw how Suns fans treated Markieff Morris and said "no thanks!"

Yes, above average is good. Two years ago was his best season (18.4 PER and very good WS/48). I'm with you.

I'm surprised we haven't jumped at a PG at all. Not even linked from what I've seen. Are we really okay rolling with Jerel McNeal? Is Archie going to play some 1?

We all forget that LMA is 30 years old... He has a 3-5 year window to win a title with the next two being his best shot.. He isn't young by anymeans

Can anyone give me empirical evidence that Chandler improves the younger players he plays with? I hope he does make Len better, but I'd rather not accept it on faith. There are plenty of great older players who are not effective mentors.

We're either going to have to build through the draft and/or trades because major free agents seem to avoid Phoenix like the plague.

The last all star free agent to sign with us was Steve Nash but even he wasn't highly sought after at the time and even then we had two quality players gained through the draft in Marion and Stoudemire and another obtained via trade Joe Johnson.

I think the plan is to return to the one of the two point guards always being on the floor, so I don't think there is any rush to sign someone that will command minutes. Plus there might be some reluctance after signing IT last offseason, which caused some turmoil in the backcourt.

he ranked Bogdan #1? what are we waiting for? bring him in! haha actually, I have no idea if that's possible, but it'd be cool I guess.
