Someone reputable tweeted that he wasn't going to make up his mind tonight because he wants to give NY a chance.

Who?

Interesting move. Not too thrilled if it doesn't land us LMA, but love that we tried. McDonough has some gargantuan balls.

Well if there's one good thing to come out of this is that the rumors of a DeAndre Jordan/Tyson Chandler trade won't happen anymore so I'm hoping DJ walks and leaves the Clippers with nothing 8-)

ye, Lakers being left high and dry and DJ walking from the Clippers is a free agency win in and of itself.

If we strike out on LMA(still most likely outcome), I'd like for us to target Tobias Harris and Danilo Gallinari

Those tweets haven't been confirmed by Woj or Stein in ~40 minutes. Only 20 minutes before the Aldridge to SA tweets broke, it was reported that we've moved up in contention with the Spurs.

I'm still thinking of Dodgeball: So we sign Chandler with the remaining cap space, to increase our chance at signing LMA, with o cap space to do so. "Bold move Cotton, let's hope it pays off."

I wish we could pull a move like in Semi-pro and trade the Morris twins for a washing machine.

The San Antonio rumors could be coming from this fact:

"In the offseason, Aldridge splits his time between the Portland area, Newport Beach, and his hometown of Dallas, Texas.[39][40] In April 2009, Aldridge's son Jaylen Lea Aldridge was born. Aldridge is separated from Jaylen's mother. Jaylen lives with his mother in San Antonio, Texas.[39] Aldridge's cousin is Marlon Hairston, a midfielder for the Colorado Rapids.[41]"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaMarcus_Aldridge

Not sure how LMA feels about being close to his son and ex. The tempers my expectations for sure.

yup. and as posted a few posts above this Sam Amick (who is more credible) says LMA is most likely waiting to see what the Knicks have to say tomorrow

Celts/Pistons seem to be early frontrunners for Tobias and have settled for him. The Grizz may be trying to trade for Danilo

I am thinking there is something to these tweets about LMA and SA. . . unfortunately.

You're right, Phoenix is a much better spot. It's close to San Antonio, but not too close. Kid would be closer to visit, but far enough away that he won't have to deal with baby momma drama. Plus, Tony Parker already probably sexted her once he found out LMA was interested in coming.

Shumpert back to the Cavs - that means five guys make 90m. Shumpert got 40/4

Love --22
James -- 25
Kyrie - 18
Tristan -16
Iman - 10

And they still want to use the Haywood contract for a player.

I have no idea who the Pick guy is but Ken Berger and Woj are most respected. Granted, I wouldn't be surprised if LMA goes to the Spurs

We can only hope for Phoenix though.

Well Philly still has to make league minimum in salary, and with their latest troubles with that, could we throw in that Cleveland pick we just got for them to take the twins? :o

If they don't meet the minimum salary, they just split the difference between the rest of the roster. I'm sure they'd love to get another pick though

Shump got overpaid imo. Almost as much Danny Green and he's not even half the shooter/is inconsistent finishing near the rim and is more of a versatile pass disruptor than a on ball lockdown defender.

This is what happens when you let your best player be your GM
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Lebron owns Gilbert. Why not when you aren't paying the bill?
