MCD PLS

Wow! If Wojnarowski posts it, he is basically the number one source in the media out of everyone. Shocking.

I bet Russell or Mario is the target at #4.

We are going to copy the Warriors roster.

Lights out guards:

Knight
Mario

Role playing small forwards

TJ/Tucker

Stretch 4's
Kieff/Mook (assuming they plea bargain)

Tough rim protector at #5
Len

Then with cap space we try to grab another vet 4/5

Except Faried is a worse defender, not a shot blocking threat, and unlike Harrell, doesnt have any offensive game outside of putbacks.

Lazy comparison.

He's a better defender I'll give him that. He can create chaos with his relentless motor but is not an outstanding defensive rebounder and won't be a rim protector at the next level with his limited standing reach and wasn't a premiere shot blocker in college ( only 1.6 per 40 min) . Harrell's offensive game is basically garbage buckets and finishing at the rim on oops/lobs, the initial promise he showed in expanding it last season was followed by a disappointing regression.

Kings don't want the Lakers #2 pick it says they want established players.

Morris twins, #13 pick, Len, Tucker, Cavs 1st Rounder, Miami 2018 pick.

Cousins/???
Wright/Granger

I still would not give Len up for him. You put them together and they dominate. I am not a believer that the league is going to go in the direction of Golden State. They are the only team capable of winning that way because they have arguably the greatest pure shooter in the history of basketball in Curry. I still believe this is a big man's league and Len will become a dominate player and I want him to dominate for the Suns.

Need to keep Bledsoe because he's BFF's with Cousins. Hopefully Cousins forces his way to us.

They would most likely want us to include Bled as a centerpiece in the package. Doubt they want to clear roster space for the Morrii and Tucker is really just a throw in. Nothing compelling here imo but no one one this roster is untouchable. If I was SAC I would go with Randle+ #2 since you are guaranteed of getting one of the two elite center prospects in this draft and it probably doesn't get any better than that. And who knows those reports of the T'Wolves guaranteeing KAT of being their pick might not be true its possible they could still be leaning towards Okafor

- Markieff Morris
- Marcus Morris
- PJ Tucker
- Pick 13 (who ever it is)
- Cavs 2016 pick

for

Cousins

Has such a deal with so many moving parts ever went down? This might be a tad too unrealistic, SAC would essentially be taking on most of our roster and would just include throways/bad contracts to make it work?

Woj:

The Los Angeles Lakers have had significant interest with Cousins, but their No. 2 overall pick isn't as appealing to the Kings as finding a deal that includes established, veteran players. Ranadive doesn't want to rebuild with a move into a new arena on the horizon, and Karl is chasing Don Nelson's all-time NBA career victories record. Karl's interest isn't in cultivating long-term assets, but rather compiling as many victories as possible in the near future.

Seriously, Suns can easily beat Nugget's offer of Lawson and Faried.
Lakers dont have anyone.

I can see Blazers / Kings, sign and trade, but Aldridge playing for a worse-off Kings?
Hawks with Horford + Schroeder + picks + filler.
Celtics doesnt have anyone.
Pacers with Hibbert + pick 11 + filler (maybe a 3rd team is required)
Clippers with sign and trade, Deandre Jordan + filler
Jazz?... for Favors?, Gobert and Cousins front court would be epic.

Suns, due to them being in limbo and having tons of youth, can afford to gut their team of veterans to get Cousins to build around.

What other teams can offer a package of players, picks for Cousins?

Build around Knight, Goodwin, Bled and Cousins? (Kentucky connection)

Bled/McNeal
Knight/Goodwin
Marcus/Bogdan
Kieff/???
Cousins/Wright

MoBros, Len, #13, Warren and Miami Unprotected?

Heat maybe with Whiteside, Deng, Pick 10?

Suns, offer of (if they do) Bledsoe, Morris twins, Tucker, Len, Pick 13, 2x future picks for King's scraps + Cousins might be doable. Since they can have a run and gun team.

Cousins trade might go to trade deadline.... to see players drafted if they are any good.

I am going to look at this from an unbiased viewpoint. If I am the Kings, I want nothing to do with the Suns. They have no guaranteed top draft picks (which the Kings do want anyway), no current all stars, and no players that come close to what Cousins does for them right now. Ultimately, the Kings want a superstar in return for Cousins. Three people come to my mind immediately the Kings could trade for: Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, or Blake Griffin. The Kings want a new point guard so Westbrook or Irving fits the bill. And Griffin obviously would be a great guy to replace Cousins.

In addition I think OKC, Cleveland, and LAC would all potentially make the deals too. You could have a Durant/Cousins/Ibaka combo, a Lebron/Cousins/Love combo (or even just Lebron/Cousins), or the LAC team with Cousins instead of Griffin. There is nothing the Suns could offer the Kings that would compare to Westbrook, Irving, or Griffin. Sorry that is just the way I see it. The Kings want players to compete right now and nothing the Suns can offer is close to that.

definitely think we need to make some sort of move whether it be deal for someone like cousins or trade up in the draft. just seem to be in perpetual limbo the past few years

even if all of that is true and it most likely is because who wouldn't want the players mentioned above. the thing is it depends if those players get offered to the kings and those teams might not be interested. have to wait and see.

Sac Town has burned that bridge. it's over for Cousins in Sac Town. He feels betrayed and insulted by the Franchise, and he must want out. Calling it now.
