MCD PLS
Wow! If Wojnarowski posts it, he is basically the number one source in the media out of everyone. Shocking.

Except Faried is a worse defender, not a shot blocking threat, and unlike Harrell, doesnt have any offensive game outside of putbacks.
Lazy comparison.

They would most likely want us to include Bled as a centerpiece in the package. Doubt they want to clear roster space for the Morrii and Tucker is really just a throw in. Nothing compelling here imo but no one one this roster is untouchable. If I was SAC I would go with Randle+ #2 since you are guaranteed of getting one of the two elite center prospects in this draft and it probably doesn't get any better than that. And who knows those reports of the T'Wolves guaranteeing KAT of being their pick might not be true its possible they could still be leaning towards Okafor
The Los Angeles Lakers have had significant interest with Cousins, but their No. 2 overall pick isn't as appealing to the Kings as finding a deal that includes established, veteran players. Ranadive doesn't want to rebuild with a move into a new arena on the horizon, and Karl is chasing Don Nelson's all-time NBA career victories record. Karl's interest isn't in cultivating long-term assets, but rather compiling as many victories as possible in the near future.

letsgosuns wrote:I am going to look at this from an unbiased viewpoint. If I am the Kings, I want nothing to do with the Suns. They have no guaranteed top draft picks (which the Kings do want anyway), no current all stars, and no players that come close to what Cousins does for them right now. Ultimately, the Kings want a superstar in return for Cousins. Three people come to my mind immediately the Kings could trade for: Russell Westbrook, Kyrie Irving, or Blake Griffin. The Kings want a new point guard so Westbrook or Irving fits the bill. And Griffin obviously would be a great guy to replace Cousins.
In addition I think OKC, Cleveland, and LAC would all potentially make the deals too. You could have a Durant/Cousins/Ibaka combo, a Lebron/Cousins/Love combo (or even just Lebron/Cousins), or the LAC team with Cousins instead of Griffin. There is nothing the Suns could offer the Kings that would compare to Westbrook, Irving, or Griffin. Sorry that is just the way I see it. The Kings want players to compete right now and nothing the Suns can offer is close to that.
