Spencer Hawes is a good example of a good draft pick, when stuck on a bad team, sucks, instead of bringing that team out of the dumps. He improved greatly once he was on a better team, with a better coach.

If we are picking where we are now, in the 8-9-10 range, that kid Moultrie is well worth the selection. I'd rather him than any of those hot shot wings outside of may be MKG. He is fast, aggressive, can leap and throw down, good rebounder, defender. I watched him a couple days ago and saw nothing but good stuff. I am not a great judge of talent, so you gurus should put an eyeball on him.

We'd be solid at PF with he and MarMo sharing the time. He could also slide over to C with his length.

Sign a FA wing... there is a few more of them available than big young guys.

What kind of makes me angry about this draft is that there are a lot of good PF prospects in the area we will be picking but we already have Morris so... we need to look at MKG, Lamb, Beal, or try to trade down to get a point guard and an extra pick.

Well Houston could make a good trade partner then. Their pick will be after us (at least so far), and the Knick's pick seems to be moving closer to the late teens or twenties.

WOw why are so many guys deciding to stay in school rather than come make millions in the NBA?

NBA GMs will get the last laugh when/if these players who are staying back a year suck the next season in NCAA or suffer a major injury or something.

I think Morris adequate bench guy for the next couple of yrs. You guys have penciled him in at PF as if he is the answer, when its clear he still has questions.

LOWpez is good as gone, so before long we are looking at just 3 guys at PF/C. We will have to add a big or two.

I guess it comes down to wisely allocating the money. The FA wings ... Mayo/Gordon/Batum/etc are likely to get some chunky deals offered... perhaps we can pick up a solid PF (Bass/Ilyasova/Landry) for 5-6 mill compared to twice that for the desired SG/SFs, then pick up a kid shooter in the draft...

We have many roads/turns we can take the off season. Its almost impossible to determine which is the best route.

Saw a kid last night I really liked - Steven Pledger (OK). Great shooter, can get a shot off at anytime looks like, beautiful form and balance. Just one of those born-to-score types. Have to say I was more impressed by him than Kabongo

My favorite realistic pick for us is Jeremy Lamb. He really knows how to create his own shot, but he's also adequate on the defensive end. He uses his length to get in people's faces, which is useful against a team with a player like Kobe or Carmelo on the wing. I really believe he'll be better than Harrison Barnes, because once he adds some muscle and strength, he could become a real force to be reckoned with. He'll be drafted anywhere from 6-10, so we'll definitely have a shot at him.

Crazy that so many of the prospective picks are freshmen.

IF we keep NAsh... and somehow land a late pick, wouldnt some Canadian logic say pick Kabongo ?

I don't think Dwight will be traded to nets this year... Well he'd give magic every verbal indication he might resign with them... One reason is Nets are not a playoff team this season... With magic he'd still get a shot in the playoffs then if he fails he boots for nets in the off season....

I'd like to love him but - he hasn't given me reason to yet. I do think he has to have someting going on, for Nash to be mentoring him

Sup guys, if anyone is interested, Lillard from Weber st. is on ESPN 360 tonight around 7pm PHX time. I know a lot of us haven't seen him due to the fact that the conference is not as strong but, it is the conference championship so it should be a good one.

If you have an xbox 360 just watch it on there and download the espn app. Thats what i'll be doing! 8-)

Moe Harkless can be one of the sleepers of the upcoming draft. I`d like to obtain another pick (suppose he is going in the 20`s) and draft him.

Lamb at 9/10 and Harkless with late first round pick and we have sg and sf positions set for the future, imo.

Perry Jones III just had 31 pts, 11 boards and 2 blocks against Kansas St. He's been stepping up the last couple of games, but had a monster one today. It will be interesting to see how he does this week and into the tourney next week and if he continues to play like this, raising back up his draft status.

Lots of good games and Lottery players playing tonight!

I have to say, i know he wont be in this draft, but next year i really want James Michael McAdoo. He is going to be an absolute stud and one of the top picks in the 2013 draft. Time to prepare for the 2012 Tank! :D

You seem to fall in love with these underagers years before they're "legal" - i.e. P Jones - and then when they do grow up, you're over them. Fickle.
Also kind of pedo-bearish ....
