Seems i was wrong. His overall rank at the end of the season was 210. In the past 5 4 years of playing fantasy, i have never seen him end a season in the top 100 (for Roto).

Good luck with Howard, cant wait to see you desperately trying to trade him before Christmas!

Yep. I learnt my lesson last year with D12. Christmas? I was beginning talking trades 3 weeks into the season.

Never. Again

Hope it works out for you though ZT. It is possible to build a contender around D12 though. All the best. I will be paying a closer eye on your moves with much higher interest now. Im intruiged.

Though I hope I dont end up regretting the Cousins pick, considering his FG%. Though, Im pretty confident he will be much more efficient this year with a proper coach and the addition of Vasquez.

I was expecting the criticism which is why I was so hesitant to pick him. And I even went in a different direction until a last minute change of heart. I think it is possible to win with Dwight in our league it just hasn't been done the right way, at least not yet.

It may be wishful thinking but maybe McHale will teach him how to shoot FT's?

Are we talking 8cat roto or 9cat? Really, in our league the only stat I am punting is FT%.

He knows how to shoot them, but its all mental. The Lakers even brought in a Psychiatrist to help him, but it did nothing. When he's in practice, he can hit them at a good clip, but in gametime he breaks down mentally. Here is a chart from the Lakers locker room showing their players the difference between what the shoot in practice and what they shoot in gametime.

In practice Howard was making 82% of them! During a game that number dropped to 49%. Its mental. Howard even said so when he got beat in a free throw contest against a housewife.

So IMHO, McHale will be able to do NOTHING for him.

Since all we have played has been 8, im going by 8cat. The only time Howard is good for a team is if you're playing H2H.

I really find it hard to believe that Dwight wouldn't crack the top 100 in any 8cat league.

His FT% is a team killer. Thats the reason he ended up ranked 210 last season.

I seriously think you are looking at 9cat stats. Punting 1 category doesn't bring down the value that much.

Because we are doing 8cat, Yahoo has the rankings for 8cat in our league. When you check him on the players list (all Players) his rank last year says 210.

And punting 1 cat does bring it down a ton. Punting doesnt work in Roto, just H2H.

I just looked it up...

Last year he was Ranked 93 (Arguably his worst year, but he was injured, still in top 100)

11-12 he was ranked 35

10-11 he was ranked 15

09-10 he was 28

And all the yahoo rankings are 9cat, why else would they show TO's?

Loving the criticism. I got it last year for picking Irving and George too. Not from anyone who ended up at the top 3 though :D

I thought everyone loved your Paul George pick.

And I remember being surprised by the Irving pick, but I thought it was a gamble worth taking

Lawson at #39 is probably the best pick of the draft
