Re: Tank Fest Update Around the League
The accumulation of the other teams chances causes that 26% chance of moving down 2 picks.
The lottery is for top 3 only as we all know... Every team from the bottom 14 have a chance in top 3.

6th - 4.0%
What happens if we drop to the 2nd worst team?

Suns sign Phil Pressey to a 10 day contract. Power move by the Suns if I do say so myself.

Re: Tank Fest Update Around the League
I run the lottery simulators, and it makes me sick to see how many times the Pels or Twolves jump ahead of us and we end up 5 or 6. Got a feeling its going to be a bad day.

If Pels or TWolves will get another potential star and we will fall out of top 3 it will be depressing

Amare, Gerald Green, and Goran started tonight.
They are presently dismantling JDudley, Marcin Gorat, and Markieff.
#12 stays in place.

Yeah, #12 is a really good place to pick. It seems that someone like Jaylen Brown or Ivan Rabb is gonna fall out of the Top 10 and McDonough scout really well those type of players.
Booker was a Top 10 (New Orleans) until the last week when they fall in love with Kaminsky....

Orlando with a chance to win here. It's very possible Washington ends up picking #10 or #11.

Having another potential lottery pick makes it more fun to follow the tank fest.
Although LA and Brooklyn losing is not good for the top pick lottery tank, Chicago and Charlotte beating them strengthens their positions as the 7th and 8th seed vis-a-vis Washington is a silver lining. Both teams now leading Washington by 3.5 games.

Excited about the WA pick. Early returns on Markieff are not good. Seems like he is already not happy in WA. I've got no hard evidence... just doesn't seem like a lot of fanfare or love right now for the guy... Same old Markieff.

Re: Tank Fest Update Around the League
First time I just tried to the simulator on tankathon, we got first, with Denver getting 2nd, followed by the Lakers, then Philly, then Boston.
That would be fairly ideal, though I'd rather an eastern team make the jump to #2, preferably someone like Orlando or Milwaukee. But that wouldn't be bad...shows we wouldn't have lost the Lakers pick, and we'd have that choice between Ingram and Simmons.
Second try, #2 with Philly getting 1 and 4 and New Orleans getting 3.
Third try we get 3rd, with New Orleans getting 1, Philly getting 2 and 4.
Fourth try, 3rd again.
Fifth try, we drop to 5th.
Maybe I should be the rep. Pretty good luck there.
About 10 more times...near the end we got #1 3 times. Not bad.

Its the most unlikely scenario but I'm crossing my fingers that we don't somehow slide down to #6 because that would mean we would have to choose the leftovers between Brown,Dunn and Ellenson which would be disappointing to say the least. Maybe some sleeper prospect shoots up boards after March Madness and shakes things up

Are you saying you'd be unhappy with any of them? If that's the case, then the 4th pick might be just as bad for you.

Dudes. Did anyone notice the guy we just signed to a 10 day contract got the 3rd most minutes last night? MCd has embraced the tank.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

We're just trying to see if we can find any good players for our professional basketball team. Our last road win was 11 weeks ago.

Re: Tank Fest Update Around the League
There's only really 3 teams tanking - PHI, LAL, PHO.
Minnesota are winning games with their young core, Brooklyn don't have a pick and everyone else has won 22+ games.

you can probably add Orlando to that mix post trade deadline. Nonetheless the Lakers, Sixers, Suns, and Nets are considerably worse than the other 26 teams, 'tanking' or not. there is not much the other teams can do about it (without being blatantly obvious).
