But finally I had to pick him up after the draft and drop a vet. I thought FOR SURE Kerrsed would take him in the 2nd or 3rd round.

It was between him and the guy i grabbed last. It was a hard choice.

We have to finish off this game and win as I fear what the FO may make a desperation trade if we don't.

Someone like Monroe isn't the answer.

And athleticism or maybe just way less body fat.

still would prefer having waited for him and not have gotten Chriss.

:nonono: I have to agree

Of course we have two extra picks too. We could have taken Skal or Dejounte Murray at 27...and someone good at 13. But Chriss looking pretty good tonight.

Shoot, ball go in hoop.

Not very sophisticated, just making shots.

I could not disagree more. Maybe that is what Earl is telling himself right now.

We are making shots because we are getting good shots.
We are getting good shots because we are moving the ball and moving without the ball.

I do agree on one point. Not very sophisticated. But its not like we are just making the same shots we took the first 3 games. These are entirely different shots. (from the few minutes I have watched + replays)

+1

I know everyone wants to put this on the energy of a first game after a coach firing.
But there is so much more going on here.

I would not have effort either if none of my teammates passed the ball or helped me get my shot and kept the defense honest. Not everyone is Lebron.

Good basketball players will get drained by being forced to play stupid basketball. I think this energy isn't about a new coach per se, but about playing proper basketball. I'd be ecstatic if I were a player to actually play real basketball.

Seen more screens tonight than the first three games combined. I do not believe we weren't setting screens before because our opponent somehow prevented us from trying it.

Please please dont be a fluke

Edit: 4 screens in one trip on the last play. Clearly someone saw what so many of us were seeing.

Tough having the energy to play 35mpg and keep a consistent shooting form when you're iso'ing every 2nd possession

Bender shouldn't be dribbling in the open floor (he just got stripped). That's the sort of mistake young guys make that are easily corrected just by telling them not to do it again. And when they try, and get stripped, they learn the hard way that just because they can dribble against most ppl, they (bigs) cannot dribble against nba guards in the open floor. I do not mind this sort of mistake at all.

That Bender turnover pretty much ended any hope I had that he would become a Kukoc-like wing creator, just not who he is. JJ on the other hand....
