Where do you guys see the Suns defensively this season. Top 5, top 10, or top 15?

I'll happily take an 8 point lead at half considering we have 13 turnovers, Chris Paul hasn't quite got in the flow, and Ayton has been in foul trouble. Need to clean it up next half, Luka's not going to be cold forever.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

All while being assigned to Doncic on the other end of the floor.

Already too. I mean Lebron didn't really get this way till his 2nd Cavs stint imo. That was like 10 years into his career. I brought up his whining on the GB and was immediately called out by Mav fans for hating since we passed on him.

That's what happens when you're given Lebron-like preferential officiating from your very first game. No one can make a legitimate argument that he doesn't get significant help from refs. I just want everyone to be called the same. Refereeing is far too subjective when some players are allowed to get away with what others aren't. I don't want to see games dictated by who has more preferential ref treatment. If you're a star, you should be a star without the calls too.

The Mikal and Book show so far. Nice bench contribution.

Mavs shooting 31% is the difference, but we have big room for improvement with Paul, Crowder, Ayton.

Hot take but Bridges is ranked higher in his position than Ayton.

Booker and Bridges clearly our two best players in the first half.

Booker playing good defense, he has taken a couple of charges.

Bridges is sooooo good...the perfect two-way player.

Meanwhile in Denver, the nuggets & kings are heading into double overtime. Jokic with 29, 15, 14 stat.

Never mind, looks like two points where added to the Kings upon a ruling which was upheld and kings won by two.

If he averages 30 with great defense he might have a case, but west is just so loaded...last year so many guys...even with George, Lillard and someone else out.

Zion could get voted in too as a starter. Ingram may get in too.

If Harden goes east that will be nice for Booker.

I think that's just a matter of time. Either Boston or Philly i think. Bostons big win tonight might make them think twice about trading Brown/Smart for him. I think it'd be a great move. We need more balance in the league. Send some of the Western ballers east lol

Bench contribution has been great. Both Cam Payne and Johnson have looked great, they're giving us exactly what we need from them. Smith is making the most of his opportunity, some rookie mistakes but overall a solid contribution.

Let's give Galloway some more playing time though, he's our 4th leading scorer for the game even though he only played 3 minutes lol.

We have the potential to be top 10 I think and that's with Booker. He'll try harder and improve this year too imo, osmosis of sorts hopefully with CP3, Crowder, Bridges and Ayton all providing elite level (or close to it at least) defense.

teams used to be able to get away with having one or two bad defender in the lineup but now all five players are offensive threats with role players all being 3D type we can't afford to have any weak link defensively

I don't think Lebron could get a call if he played for Phoenix
