Honestly, I think they needed this. How they carry on after a loss that was definitely winnable will be telling.

I have a feeling that GS pours it on now just to make some kind of moral victory statement on top of top of a win.

Romp

Payne with his worst game

Ayton with good numbers but a lazy performance.

Nobody else doing anything.

Clear the bench

Not necessarily. We beat them once without Booker for most of it and they beat us once. Unless we lose quite a few more before Christmas and they don't.

Warriors haven't played since Tuesday. We're coming off a game last night. If they didn't win this game, it would be shameful.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

We know what the deal is, but you know the talkings heads are all going to be slobbering all over the Dubs now. We could go undefeated again until the Christmas game and it would still be all about the Dubs

Yeah we needed the entire team to step up and it looks like Ayton was the only one hungry tonight. CP3 looked to be playing at 80%, make a few lazy passes. Suns need to learn to take care of the easy opponents early and remember every team other than the Thunder can steal one from you. The win last night played Bridges almost 41 minutes, Ayton with 34. Should have ben the upper 20s.

Not mad though. Regroup and focus on the next one. Also... I don't pay attention to media too much because they only talk about the Lakers, Warriors, and Nets.

Pretty obvious they've been stewing on this for days. On a good note we know that we can demolish them with Ayton-which will be handy when we get Booker back.

Also hopefully Cam can not play like a 6'2 version of Damion Jones.

I don't really listen to or watch the talking heads. But they are a team that has been to a bunch of finals and still basically have the core 3 they started with, along with one of them coming back after being out for 2 years, so it makes sense. Klay will only make Curry THAT much more dangerous too.

Christmas will be a big test, as will how well we play over the next week + without Booker.

Edit: We got lucky with the schedule. We don't play until Monday and then we don't play after that until Friday. So over the next week we have one game. Nice time for Book to be out....1 game vs Detroit, a game we may have lost anyway, and then a home game vs SA, where I imagine we will have focus after a loss.

Then starting Friday we go to Boston, LAC, POR, then have WAS, CHA and @ the Lakers before a breather vs OKC right before our Christmas showdown vs the Warriors.

Could've used Haliburton in this one. Man.

Why doesn’t Stix ever get minutes again? I really don’t think he sucks. I don’t understand why he’s never gotten burn

Goal should be to solidly hold on to 2nd seed this month while getting healthy again. Streak is over so that takes the pressure off. We got the franchise record and are still just half game back so it's not the end of the world. I was planning for a split and that's what we got.

I’m not necessarily saying it’s undeserved, but it still grinds my gears. I really do like listening to the analysis shows and reading Tweets etc. Especially after a Suns W. I spent half the day watching Suns hype vids on YouTube today  Now it’ll just be all “see I told you, the Warriors are the best team in the NBA”, “Warriors just had a bad game Tuesday, you saw the real Warriors tonight”, “no one is going to beat this team once Klay comes back” etc

It'll be fine. LAL will keep losing and the LeBron will demand a trade here to win 1 with one of his best friends in the world...and to troll the Dubs one last time.

Spoiler:

The fact we’re still in this game is impressive to me.

You're not wrong but I'm not playing that game

We're in this game because we're an elite team. We can win without Book like we did in the first game. We have to stay locked in, control the boards and hit some damn shots

Yeah, we are good. We should be able to compete. We are missing Book but they are missing Klay. We are going to have to be able to beat them with Klay once Book comes back so we can't really use something like that as an excuse.

It’s not an excuse really. Book is more important to the Suns than Klay to the Warriors. And it’s the 2nd night of a back to back on the road.

If both teams had even rest at the least, then at least that’s different.

But anyway, oh well. I’ll give the guys lot of credit for 18 freaking wins in a row. Incredible. Great fight tonight too.

On to the next one.

I had a feeling that he would have a bad game tonight because of how well he played yesterday. It’s rare for role players to follow up a great game with another good game the very night after on a back to back imo. I use this strategy when I play daily fantasy sports and it’s usually right.

Anyway, I think he’ll bounce back in the next one though.

Can't win them all. Everything was stacked against us in this one. Onto the next one.
