Cool! But even if Vassell isn't there at 10, We could still end up doing better getting a two for one ( important if the trade goes through to add more low cost depth)
Target Bane and Tyler Bey. Bane would be a great offensive compliment off of either Paul or Booker whenst they're sitting. And whilst Vassell would be the optimal primary option, Tyler Bey is easily the next best versatile, long super athletic MULTIPOSITIONAL , switchable elite defensive playmaker.

Devin Vassell/Tyler Bey comparison
http://www.tankathon.com/players/compare?players=tyler-bey--devin-vassell

As you can see, They're almost identical in most every category. With each being slightly better in certain areas. So Bey could be a huge secondary value option for us in the mid to late 20s'. Yes! We'd lose out on our primary Choice of Vassell, But actually gain significantly more value with getting BOTH Bane and T Bey.

Then we could address any other positional depth needs in the 2nd round. Whether it be:

Center
Oturu/ Carey/ Perry/ Azubuike/ Richards.

Power forward
Paul Reed/ Xavier Tillman/ Killian Tillie/ Lamar Stevens/ Mamadi Diakite/ Freedie Gillespie.

Small forward
Jaden McDaniels/ Elijah Hughes/ Jordan Nwora/ Robert Woodward/ * Naji Marshall/ * Josh Hall/ * Kenyon Martin Jr.

Shooting Guard
Isiah Joe/ *Sam Merrill/ Trevelin Queen/ Skylar Mays/ Mason Jones/ John Petty Jr/Immanuel Quickly.

Point Guard
*Grant Riller/ *Malachi Flynn/ *Tyshon Alexander/ *Tre Jones/ Nico Mannion/ Cassius Winston/ Payton Pritchard / * Ashton Hagans/ * Yam Madar!

If you're curious as to any of these prospects potential fit, Feel free to ask. :D

Interesting - Tyrese Maxey

The Suns are in dire need of another shot-creator alongside Devin Booker, which opens the door for Maxey, who could become the next great under-drafted Kentucky guard. Maxey is a tough, long-armed defender with deep range and excellent touch in the paint. He averaged 19.0 points per game last season against top-25 teams, bringing confidence and a joyous nature to the floor that fits perfectly with what Monty Williams is building. - SCHMITZ

Quickley > Maxey

I actually agree with you on this man!
Maxey is a better penetrator, scorer driving to the rim. But Quickly is a much better shooter, both from three and at the line.

I think we will still take a PG to develop behind CP3 at #10. Most likely Lewis. If we have to pick swap with OKC, it will probably be Bane at #25.

https://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/29335461/2020-nba-draft-projections-ranking-top-30-prospects

Very interesting rankings!
10. Aaron Nesmith

Vanderbilt
W
Top 100: No. 13
Stats: No. 16

Consensus: 1.7 WARP

Nesmith ranks this high on his potential as a shooter. He shot an incredible 52% on 115 3-point attempts during an abbreviated sophomore season, and while that's obviously not sustainable -- Nesmith shot just 34% from beyond the arc as a freshman -- 83% foul shooting does mark him as likely to show NBA 3-point range.

Gambo just said on the radio he expects we will keep #10 and "don't be surprised if it is Desmond Bane." He ruled out Hayes, Maxey, Lewis, Hampton, Okoro, Vassell.

Assuming Gambo does have a good source for this within team. What do they gain by:

a) giving him such a long list
b) letting him talk about it publicly

Yeah, Gambo is sus but Bane would be a Jones kind of pick. He played in a tough Big 12 and is an older prospect. If he's truly a cross between Malcolm Brogdon and Eric Gordon then sign me up.

Now I hope they move back from 10 in tbe paul deal just so I don't get mad at them on draft night.

I don't hate Bane I just like some others more.

Wow thank you for sharing those! That's really impressive and makes me fine with Bane at #10 if that's what they decide to do. The videos themselves are really well done too.

Yeah, he did a great job. And I totally agree. I was iffy on Bane but I am sold now.
