WCS dropping to 13, makes you wonder how serious his red flag(s) are.

Re: Official Draft Thread: What should we do with the 13th and 43rd pick?
the issues with WCS are motivation from what I have read. his heart may not be in basketball. you can't teach heart.
also read that there may be an old foot injury... could be Greg Oden, Joel Embiid redux.
we should let someone else take the chance.

If WCS falls, that means one less player for us to pick at 13 if we don't pick him. @13 why not pick WCS if Frank isn't there. Let WCS play the Ben Wallace/Dennis Rodman role. He and Len down low......makes me smile.

And Gambo is saying we will pick him if he's there, take that for what it's worth.
Gambo saying we will pick him if he is there is not from a source... That's his opinion on what he thinks we should do.

And he is right. Someone was saying earlier today that WCS has a pin in his foot from an old injury, but it is in at the wrong angle and the surgery needs to be redone.

How about Suns trade for Rudy Gay instead?
He put up 21/6/3 on a good contract. Shot 36% from the 3pt line.
He is 28 years old and is a borderline all-star.
Pick 6 + Gay for Bledsoe + Tucker + Bullock
Suns use Pick 6 and Pick 13 to move up to top 3?.... grab Russell.

Bledsoe, Len, Morris twins, #13, Tucker, Goodwin..throw whatever we can at them. We must be aggressive in pursuing this, he is arguably a top five player in this league
No truer words said. This is the moment McD has been waiting for. This is his time to shine.
Bring home the bacon!
Go for Cousins but we need to pair him with at least Bledsoe or Len to form a big three. Otherwise, we're going to suck still.
No way Suns can get Cousins without giving Bledsoe and Len.
So if such a deal happens Suns may end not being any better than current Kings.

I haven't liked Porzingis at all but this is a game changer. The flaws in his game are shadowed by these insane measurements.

Yea, why would anyone want a talented player that fits our team perfectly?Let's continue creating pages of a Cousins trade fantasies for two days, then draft someone at 13 just to hear all the "Boogie" salivators cry foul after the pick of Kaminsky, Lyles, or Turner.
I can't believe so many of yall do this year after year
In the last 20 or so years, have there been any white seniors who did really well in the league? Hardly any.
Kaminsky is hyped just like Cody Zeller who was a beast in college too and yet neither Zeller brother has yet to find much success in the NBA. Kaminsky will likely follow that path.
Spenver Hawes is an accurate projection for Kaminsky and Hawes was just traded for Lance freakin Stephenson so that shows how good he is.

Don't you think it might be good to evaluate a player on his skills, measurables, character etc rather than on the color of his skin? I can understand not liking Kaminsky because of his wingspan, or average athleticism but . . .

If Suns trade Bledsoe + Len + 2 future picks for Cousins
Resign Knight.
Move Tucker + Morris twins to Pacers for Hibbert.
Sign Danny Green
Keep pick 13, draft Portis.
Keep pick 44, draft a backup PG.
C: Hibbert / Wright
PF: Cousins / Portis
SF: Granger / Warren
SG: D.Green / Goodwin
PG: Knight / McNeal / Pick 44.
I like that team.... WILL be competitive... then when the cap goes up, you try to upgrade the SF spot and add dept.

Ok fine take out the race factor, and there's still not many senior big men who end up good in the NBA. He's not athletic enough, he's not long enough, his skilset is very limited, there's just not much upside.

I hope we don't take Kaminsky, but the phrase "his skillset is very limited" should never be even thought, let alone uttered, in the same sentence as him. He has ridiculous handles and shooting ability, as well as a good post game and solid passing skills. He's as skilled a big man as this draft has.

Roy Hibbert is never the answer. I'd rather we sign Tyson Chandler.

That team would be lucky to win 20 games, if we are looking to Tank, I love it... otherwise gross and completely un-watchable!

Round 1 (13) Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, G/F, So., Arizona
Round 2 (44) Guillermo Hernangomez, C, Spain
Analysis: While much of the NBA scouting world has been down on Hollis-Jefferson, I remain enthusiastic. Yes, he can't shoot. And it's a problem. But he does everything else at an elite level. He can be a lock-down defender at multiple positions. He can penetrate and finish at the rim. He has a high basketball IQ. If his shot ever started falling, I think he'd be a star. Even if it doesn't, I could see him turning into a star surrounded by more offensive minded players like Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Markieff Morris and T.J. Warren. He could play a Andre Iguodala-type role for them on D. Scouts came in with super high expectations for Hernangomez, and while he put up good numbers for his age, he was never dominant in Spain. The Suns aren't getting a game-changer at No. 44, but Hernangomez could play in the NBA right now -- think a young Zaza Pachulia.

Da F***?
It makes no sense that we need shooters, he lists our needs, and then pegs us for a SF that can't shoot. Oh well, no one has ever claimed Ford to be a genius.

Kyler has no clue. How he got a job at USA today is beyond me. Here is a press conference question two years ago when he asked Pop a very stupid question at 1:10.

I think the Sixers would rather have Smart than Bledsoe. He was a much more highly rated prospect and is closer to the age of their core. Philly still won't do it I don't think, though if those are good firsts, that's a pretty good offer. If they are 2016 firsts, they are not nearly as valuable though.
