Via Jake Fischer
Phoenix only has second-round capital at its disposal, plus Nassir Little and his four-year, $28 million contract, to consider for legitimate upgrades, as Phoenix appears intent on keeping Grayson Allen.
While the Suns were once considered primarily shopping for guards – and they remain connected to players in that salary range such as Delon Wright and Monte Morris, sources said – the Suns now seem to be generally looking at various rotation-level players, ranging from Jae’Sean Tate to Royce O’Neale, sources said, to Bridges and Charlotte teammate Nick Richards.

Good. We have more than quite a few options at our disposal. Just need to pick up a good wing that can play defense and knock down 3’s and we’ll be set for the playoffs

I'd much rather roll with our guys and see if we can improve the wing without hiring a goon who beat his children's mother in front of them.
Call it whatever you want - karma, basketball gods, or just plain ol' conspiracy theory Adam Silver controls everything, but no team is winning a 'ship with a POS like that hanging around.
There's such a thing as culture and integrity, still, even in these very broken and **** up times.

https://bvmsports.com/2024/01/26/miles-bridges-trade-interest-from-hornets-jazz-suns-and-pistons/
So far it appears that the Jazz and/or the Pistons have real interest and could potentially offer something back in return if this could become a 3 team deal??? Anyone have some thoughts on what we might look for if we were to facilitate a trade for either the Jazz or the Pistons to be receiving Miles Bridges and we'd send out Little + miscellaneous in the deal???
Any thoughts?
For my part, Just some random examples of who I'd like to try and get back from:
Jazz-
Dunn and Yurtseven, IF not, then maybe Fontecchio and Yurtseven?
Pistons-
Any of Monte Morris, Alec Burks, or Mike Muscala?
Miles Bridges: Trade Interest from Hornets, Jazz, Suns, and Pistons
By BVM Sportsdesk, 58m ago
The Jazz, Suns, and Pistons have inquired about the Hornets forward Miles Bridges, who is considered a potential trade candidate as the Hornets appear lottery-bound. Bridges, 25, has been productive this season, averaging 20.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. However, his trade value is complicated by his impending free agency and legal situation off the court.
Why It Matters
The interest from multiple teams in acquiring Miles Bridges highlights the potential impact his addition could have on their respective rosters as they seek to bolster their lineups for the current season and beyond.
State of Play
Jazz are viewed as both buyer and seller at the trade deadline and are keeping an eye out for possible additions who could help the team win now, including a veteran point guard.
The Suns are interested in acquiring rotation players at various positions and view Miles Bridges as a potential rental due to his contract situation and legal issues.
The Pistons are looking to acquire a player to whom they could dedicate a chunk of their cap room this summer, with ongoing interest in Zach LaVine.
What's Next
The NBA teams involved will continue to assess their needs and potential trade options as the trade deadline approaches, with the potential for further developments in the trade discussions involving Miles Bridges.

Ron Artest was a piece of chit and he won back to back titles with the Lakers. Ishiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer was a piece of chit yet both won B2B titles. Piece of chits exist everywhere and they manage to help teams win. We are not judge, jury or executioner.

Moreover, we don't have hundreds of millions of dollars riding on this venture.
We need talent but don't have any trade assets. What other choice is there?

Bridges is subpar defender and not exactly that long either. How is he filling the need or making us better?

*I do not want us to trade for Miles Bridges*
Disclaimer aside, he's capable of doing anything positive on the basketball court (score the ball), which only about 6 guys on the current roster can give you every night.
The bench turns from Eric Gordon and pray KBD/Okogie/Metu/Eubanks can do anything to Eric Gordon, Miles Bridges and pray that other group can do anything.

None of those guys did the damage (and convicted of it by an actual judge) that Bridges did. The evidence is all there.
And I am judge / jury / executioner of who I support and why, including my sports team who I’ve given plenty of money as a fan.
I can throw stones because I’ve never laid hands on a woman or a child and if you have, best believe I’ll call you a POS to your face.

Look at KJ Martin. He played 31 m and scored 11 points. He had 4/6 FG , and Philly wants only one second round.
We should trade for him.
I’m glad that Jones consider JaeSon , he decrease role in current team but he would be value able rotation player.

There's levels to this. None of those guys nearly killed their wife by beating her....in front of their son.

I'm more interested currently in the nba teams with the biggest luxury tax penalties/ 2nd apron penalties, etc that might have a strong interest in offloading salary(ies) into our exceptions in order to try and reduce their looming 2024 penalties:
https://hoopshype.com/lists/luxury-tax-2023-24-how-much-is-each-team-projected-to-spend
So of these LT penalty teams, which do you guys think have the best odds of being a viable trade partner with solid pieces that we might look at to absorb with our exceptions?
