You can always hope, right? But to be honest, they would be stupid not to consider PHX. We're full of good/great young players in or entering their primes, great system, great coach and great culture. Not to mention, sunny weather, golf courses and a fanbase that would worship them like gods if they were to bring the 1st championship in Phoenix.

They must have a good sense of whether they can get a meeting or not

I don't care for Carmelo as everyone well knows, but man, what a splash this would be.

That story is very exciting, especially because of who wrote it. Wojnarowksi is probably the number one NBA insider in the media at this point. This might become the most exciting free agency period in the history of the Suns franchise. The Suns legitimately are the only team in the league that can offer a max to Lebron and another superstar while still having a team that is ten deep with a roster of really good players. The lineup possibilities are ridiculous.

Bledsoe/Ennis
Dragic/Green/Goodwin
Lebron/Marcus Morris/Warren
Carmelo/Markieff Morris
Plumlee/Len

Or if not Carmelo, then Bosh like the article said. There is not another team in the league that can offer this opportunity to James unless all players involved take big pay cuts. This is awesome.

Wow... that would be awesome.
Glad to see Suns getting a little love.

Obviously this is a looooong shot, but who knows? Woj is so well respected.

You state facts, my friend. It's just a matter of these players using their brains rather than their hearts. Really there is no other team that can offer everything the suns already have. Which is quality youth, cap space, multiple draft picks, quality medical staff, and quality coaching.

Other teams have one or two of these qualities but none have all of them combined like the suns.

Does anyone know what specifically we'd have to give up to make this happen? I think we'd have to renounce Tucker and Frye but that's it. Anyone know for sure? (assuming we givem both max deals)

So true. The suns fans would triple on our board. Suns jerseys would be everywhere. It would be pretty funny.

If we assemble the super-team, the west's brutality suddenly looks so... pedestrian.

I would pay hundreds of dollars to be a fly on the wall during the pitches, just to see McD in action.

Wade and Bosh won't be too happy if LeBron, after he talked them into opting out of their contracts to take less, bolts. Though I guess Wade might see a little silver lining since he never seemed completely happy with deferring. I wonder who Miami would be able to sign to replace LeBron if he did leave and if Bosh would still stay or if he'd go ahead and take off too.

Don't see it happening though, but of course McD is the miracle maker and we all knew he'd try.

Lebrons agent has to love this. Besides Lebron and Bledsoe, he also represents Wade and Bosh. His players, along with him, could make alot more money by splitting them up. Bledsoe and Lebron on the Suns and Wade and Bosh on the Heat. It also gives both teams (specially in Miami) enough cash to also go after other, more quality, free agents, and in return making the teams better, deeper, and more well rounded.

The problem with Miami was all their capspace was spent on 3 players, leaving them with next to nothing for the rest of the team. The quality of players surrounding them then suffered.

Obviously it's a long shot but of course they should come with a full court press for lebron. Even if he doesn't want to come here he should do his buddy Bledsoe a favor and leak it to the media he's strongly considering it; that would create some good buzz for phoenix and might help in recruiting other free agents.
