DRK agrees to draft Derrick Rose for KJG, and immediately the trade becomes official.

Pleasure doing business with you DRK.

I think Rose will be worth the gamble at 62, he went 10 slots higher over in the D-league. I'm expecting a rough start from Rose this season...

No worries. I really didnt like anyone on the board at 62, and there were a couple of players I thought would be there at 69 that I would like. Moving up to 72 is an added bonus too.

Yeah, he could be an absolute steal, but even if he is just a shell of his old self, he still is almost worthy of this pick especially if there is no one you are specifically targeting. Even if he just gets like 15 and 7 assists, and shoots a decent %, that's about as good as many of the point guards taken much earlier. The only big risk is being injured again.

The next pick is going to be insanely difficult for me. Hopefully Zero and Kop make it easier.

Well he definitely wouldn't have been there for your next pick.

Damnit, took ages to work out who I wanted to draft before the last pick and had finally settled on Wes Matthews...in that case, I'll take David Lee

Damn you guys!

Wade was next on my list, followed up by Calderon. Jose is going to have a GREAT season next year. He was already a great 3PT/FT shooter and somehow still got a ton of assists, and just like Phil Jackson has said, i think he will do great in the triangle offense.

Time for me to re-strategize!

You think youve had it rough? Every single one of my big man targets has been sniped. Every. One.

I was worried Calderon would be taken, especially after seeing Ariza and Matthews go b2b. It is weird seeing Wade go next, but I just have a general rule of not taking injury prone guys, but Wade that late, and with LeBron gone? That could be a serious steal. Thinking about it, he could be a top 10 fantasy guy being the main ballhandler. I'm not totally sure why I didn't think about that at this point, but I love guys with high percentages if they can also hit 3s and get assists, and I barely missed on Calderon last year.

Yeah, wow, looking at your roster it looks like you could be hard pressed for some bigs. Always good to get the best value though.

Gaspar was online when I made that post saying to stick around. Hopefully he doesn't use tabs and is checking Yahoo or something.
