To me Duncan is the closest comparison to Alex Len. The stiffness, dunk attempts when others would try a layup, quick hook moves..

I know Len idolized Tim Duncan growing up so it makes sense that he has a similar style. He needs to work on playing a little calmer in the post. If he can grab a couple go-to moves from watching Tim Duncan film and Pau Gasol film, he could easily average over 16 points a game next season. 16/10/2.5 is very plausible.

I just wonder if Popovic covets Len... and imagine if Spurs managed to get Len and be mentored by Duncan... Len is no prime Duncan, but Len could at least be similar to 2010+ Duncan.. and thats a very good big man.

He's been getting exposed against bigs with jumpers lately. On pick-and-rolls he either gives up a layup to the guard or open jumper for the big. I'm not sure if it's foot speed or fundamental issue yet. Something to watch.

Second ankle sprain in a short time.
If this incident doesn't get the coaching, fitness staff to force Len to wear ankle brace (like Curry) then they less intelligent than I give them credit for.

Braces will just make him more agressive inside the paint knowing you won't roll your ankle when you land.. It does for me anyways.

1. Bigs as in centers shooting jump shots IS good.

2. If they continue to nail those jump shots then you switch the PF to cover the jump shooting big during defense. Mavs, Spurs, Hawks and any team with smart defense coordinators know how to counter that.

3. Len protecting the paint and making 3-5 footers hard to score in, is him doing a good job as a center.

His constant ankle and foot issues is worriesome. This is what, his 5th or 6th such issue since getting drafted?

Len needs to get a strong ankle brace and wear it during games.

His constant ankle and feet injuries are worriesome.

:(:(:(

Noel is playing really well after the All-Star Break (13/10/2ast/3blk/2stl per game) and Len cant stay healthy :(

I can't lie. I was really angry when we passed up Noel for Len and although it took a while for Noel to adjust to the NBA which in fairness is totally understandable given his extremely long layoff and this being his first year but his athleticism and defensive ability would have been perfect for our team imo. He can run with the floor with the likes of Bled and although he isn't much of a scorer yet (although he did just score 30 points on 12-17) his game is definitely coming along in leaps and bounds and he certainly would add a lot to this team.

Len is by far the better prototype.

Noel can't shoot and has terrible offensive effeciency and probably always will.

He has a bit more x-factor on defense, but Len has all-around high potential game.

And she found a boyfriend tall enough for her to wear heals. I have college age daughters. I guess that really matters.
