The Ryan Anderson deal is still there now that Anderson is probably not going to Detroit

Suns are probably asking too much - I blame Sarver. If something is wrong - I just blame Sarver

Pistons/Kings want to sign Rhino as a FA. Check the wiretap.

Well. the Suns would be getting cap space trading Kieff for an expiring. Granted, can always wait until summer and keep the problem in the locker room to get "value".

I would have been all in on a Knight/Keiff for Harris/Watson trade. McD just didn't want to do it without that 2018 Lakers pick included.

Unbelievable that Detroit got Harris for that package. I'm shocked. McD must be shocked. McD is in trouble.

They got Harris' $16M/yr contract too though.

That is two teams he had options for that he didn't get. Detroit and Orlando are probably now out on it Kieff. Kieff for Ilyasova works straight up I think because its one for one.

Nobody should be shocked. Hennigan is an idiot and Detroit is slowly becoming legit.

There is no way the Suns keep Keef by the deadline! I can't imagine him playing another game as a Sun. He has to be moved. I'm just happy we didn't get Tobias Harris.

A three way with the Suns receiving Ersan and Frye. Orlando getting Jennings and Knight, and Detroit getting Harris. That works.

Not sure why Orlando would want so many pgs.

Magic got rid of long term cap commitments. So, taking on Knight for Frye- really doesn't make sense. Unless they are worried about Oladipo and Fournier and realize Knight is locked in so if you dump Frye- that helps.

So basically, the Suns would only have Ilyasova for one year after this, Frye for two and remove themselves from four more years of Brandon Knight. What to do with Markieff though - dump him for an expiring Ryan Anderson possibly?

Illysova has a team option for next year so is basically an expiring.

Man if they trade Knight for a package of Fry and junk I'm going to get my popcorn ready for the press conference when they try to spin that move. It's crazy I was a huge McD supporter up until the deadline last year but it's pretty embarrassing how bad of a GMing performance he's had the past 12 months. I hope he's renting because he might be back as an assistant in Boston in a couple months.

Could Detroit acquiring Harris preclude a Morris trade? Despite what we've seen from Warren, he's still unproven and now a question mark coming off a foot injury.

Suns trade Markieff and Teletovic/Tucker to Detroit for Tobias. Gives the Suns another young player in Harris who fits their timeline of young players.

So Henigan just moved 16m of contract for two expirings

that must mean he has a bigger deal in mind or wants cap space for Oladip Fournier, etc

Does this mean the serious talks are over, and now off to plan B?

I really wouldn't mind keeping Keef to the deadline.

1. He ensures we lose lots of games.
2. We can continue to pad his stats
3. Hopefully the assault charge will be over by then and his trade value will increase

Let Keef and Knight average 20 a game here on out. Lose all our games. Trade Keef and Knight on draft day.

why would he have to spin it? Everyone knows brandon knight would be addition by subtraction. And then theres that booker kid. If youre talking about the trade FOR BK... I could see him having to do some splanin but right or wrong he saw getting a 20ppg scorer over a 5 pick. In hindsight it was the wrong move but was it that bad at the time?
