Why trade for Chandler if they are not high on him? I've heard they put Noah and Taj on table for a "premier wing" but nothing about Gasol.

Meant Noah, not Chandler. And they are openly accepting offers for Gasol according to the SI report below

http://www.si.com/nba/2015/12/24/chicago-bulls-trade-rumors-pau-gasol-jokim-noah-taj-gibson

Makes sense after bringing in Hoiberg, and knowing that they've got to get away from having a bunch of bigs who can't shoot to be able to continue to compete in today's league.

It really is a shame the Suns traded that Lakers pick for Knight because the Lakers pick is a better asset than Knight. I doubt anyone would take on a guy getting paid 70 million dollars that is playing as terribly as Knight. For an organization with such a rich history of great guard play (especially point guards), I venture to say Bledsoe and Knight are two of the worst guards in franchise history. They are certainly my least favorites of all time. I would even take Tony Delk over them.

Anyway, the only trades the Suns should be making are to do a 100% rebuild. There is no shame in doing it. This hovering around the 9th seed for years has really gotten old and it is boring. Regardless, fans can accept a rebuild. There is no point in trying to trade for more mediocre talent that will not make you a contender. This organization has delayed a true rebuild for a long time and it is time to do it already.

Seriously, I would much rather go to games and watch Len, Warren, and Booker play 35 minutes a night than watch Knight, Bledsoe, Tucker, Chandler, and Teletovic ever play another second in a Suns uniform. C'mon front office. Let's make it happen.

Yeah, he knows he better be easy to coach now given his circumstances. But at some point, as opposed to the cream rising to the top, the **** always sinks to the bottom.

This is the perfect way to end the day. The entire NBA is making jokes now. I'm not sure our front office is laughing though

Ish Smith has said something about Hornacek about letting guys just do their own thing.
Then when Ish Smith was a FA, he could of returned to Phoenix but ended up somewhere else.
Then during the game... Ish Smith saying some things to Hornacek when he hit some long shots.

Speculatiing here, but I think Smith (1) thinks Hornacek isnt a good coach, (2) Hornacek has played a factor why Ish Smith didnt return.... maybe the way he plays. But certainly, Smith seems to be a nice guy, but saying something to Hornacek during a game suggest there is history there.

One thing that might be holding us back is Knight cant be traded till Jan 15th. I honestly think kieff, tucker, and either bled or knight need to go.

I dont see too many big guys available that would mix with the guys we have here. The one we dont have is the big brusing power forward that can set solid picks and roll hard to the hoop.

My pick: Taj Gibson.

How do we get him? He make a lil more than Kieff I believe so it would have to be a mulitiplayer trade.

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6640498

Kieff + Tucker +future 1st rd pick(protected) for Gibson, Snell, and Hinrich.

Suns get some smarter players and Bulls get a bench scorer in kieff and another defensive minded wing in Tucker.

Bulls are shopping lets send them Knight and Chandler for Noah and Mirotic. Chandler will make more sense for them then us. Noah and Chandler have similar salaries. Noah is a better passer that can fit us better and is also a good locker room guy if I remember. Bulls can use Knight to deepen their guard position and make a run for the finals.

Is that a poke at Hornacek or are you calling SBG a liar?

The coach has to get on board and figure how to effectively coach all players, not the other way around. Hornacek is a horrible coach.

Is called handle with care.

Good insight if true, thanks. I've always said Hornacek was a big puss.

Knight has to go, I don't care if Bled is out for the season.

I would rather have Ty Lawson running this team over Brandon Knight! Mc D, raise your weapon, pull the trigger and EXECUTE THIS DYING BEAST!! IT'S SUFFERING!! Please trade both Kief and Knight, I'll take Lawson, you win, I give, just use lube!!!

Playing Ty Lawson off the ball is not a solution. If you want Knight gone, at least try to get something younger like a draft pick or rookie contract.

With Bled possibly hurt, Iwould let Ty run the show over knight. I would also trade Knight for a bag of magic beans.

So you want us to trade for a guy with a huge salary that Houston can't give away, give up something that has value leaguewide despite the fact that I understand you don't like him, in an effort to win more games in a season where the playoffs would be a miracle and we really ought to be trying to develop younger talent and get a higher draft pick? Oh, and he's not guaranteed next season, so this is likely a rental since Bledsoe would be back by then.

Gotta say, I can't agree at all.

Yep, I would love to rid the team of Kief because of obvious reasons, and at the same time erase a mistake in Knight. He is a bonehead, brain dead human. His mistakes are team killers. He constantly dribbles directly into double teams and either falls or gets the ball poked away, or throws the dumbest passes. Or like last night, dribbles the shot clock out then shovels the ball to someone with no time on the clock and no shot.

So yes, rid of Kief, rid of a mistake trade and subsequent contract for an actual pg to come in here and help both Booker and Archie develops as guards (both would have to step up and put up or shut up without both Bled or knight). And then we don't even have to pay him past this season...... Yeah, we will agree to disagree. Kief is gonna go, and knight SHOULD go!

So now you think Lawson would help Booker and Archie develop? Again, say what you want about Knight being a mistake, but there are other teams out there who would give us something of actual value for him, like picks. Instead, you're advocating throwing him into another deal for a guy who has 0 value leaguewide and who cannot help us longterm. The only way that works out as a win for us is if Lawson's 40 games with Booker and Archie result in an epic amount of development.

I have a question.

What player or players appear to have good relationship with Hornacek?

Quite frankly I cannot come up with any names.

We know the players that could not get along with him, they are gone. How much longer can we continue to change players in hope of finding a group that Hornacek can coach?
