So listening to Sarver, when do we get Nash and Grant Hill into our coaching staff? Those two we probably some of the best basketball minds we've had on our team in decades.

No, but at the very least he's going to make sure that we don't do players dirty like we did with Dragic and IT.

Both of them are toi Hollywood now. I think Grant is too comfy doing his TV stuff. I dont know if Steve wants to come back, he loves California too much.

Isn't Grant Hill and owner of the Hawks now? I know he is vice chairman of the board.

Money talks, and it doesn't go against our cap. If Sarver truly wants to get in the best minds to help our youngsters excel, then we have to go after the best minds. Currently, I don't see us having a coaching staff which backs what Sarver is saying he wants.
As for Nash and Hill, I don't know if they want to go deeper into a team, but Grant has expressed a desire to have part ownership of a team, and Nash was part of a chip team. Time to bring them home to PHX, and we are super close to Cali.

Couldn't we make him an offer to leave that? But yes, he is a part owner of the Hawks.

Oh man, we bring in James Jones, the same James Jones who is a close personal friend to LeBron and the only reason he was on the Miami and Clevland rosters was because of LeBron, and guess who is most likely changing teams next year. Guess Bron didn't have a brother we could sign?!?!

we could sign his kids. They're young enough to be Phoenix Suns

Re: Trade & FA Ideas & Discussion
How the hell is Houston going to get Melo if they need to send out Anderson, but the cost to do so is two 1st round picks, while also needing at least another 1st round pick AND some kind of young assets to send to NY?

If that is the cost, then stay far away from moving Knight. He has shown too much in the past to let his value settle there. Better to stay put, or move Bledsoe to a better situation. Only reason to consider moving Knight is if the salary is needed for a big acquisition, or if his salary space is needed for us to complete an acquisition.

One thing to keep in mind I guess on the 2 first round picks is that it is 2 very late picks from HOU. An earlier pick from another team might seal the deal.

Just curious but what are you running? My 10 year old macbook runs them fine. I think it has more to do with your broadband than your computer.

Would you guys use next year's Miami pick to trade Knight to a team like Brooklyn? I can see Miami being a top 4 seed in the East and the pick being around 20-23 next year.

Love Love Love the moves the Suns are making lately.
I'm really happy to see McDonough extended. He deserves it. He'll deliver for us AND he is young! Still lots of room to grow. Imagine how good he will be in 5-10 years after a bit more experience???

No. There's simply no reason. We're under zero financial pressure ATM. The price is the pick, but what are we buying exactly? An increased ability to absorb other bad contracts in exchange for... a different pick?
