I´m letting Kieff go, as he is a similar player to Portis, who has way more upside. He can add value to someone. Gasol was a major disappointment and is also back on the market. My other players were changed almost daily looking for specific numbers and aren´t really something to talk about.

I expect better numbers across the board for Love, who likely will be the-go-to-guy and play closer to the basket, maybe even improving FG% although taking more shots/having better defenders on him. But I still need to work on FG% and Defensive Stat. I definitely need help at the SF position, and am willing to trade whatever for improvement there.

I spread myself a little thin with how many leagues I was in last year, and I just don't enjoy roto as much as H2H so this is the team that took the hit. Actually, now that you mention it, I think I did have someone in the RealGM Circuit Challenge league say they'd be keen to play.

But obviously we try and fill it with a Suns person first

See edurham's post about 5 posts up. That is your dynasty roster. Good thing is you have Curry. You need to select 8 keepers out of those. After your top 5-6 who should be the highest ranked fantasy and best players, you probably want to lean toward keeping younger players over older ones if they have near equal value or you expect a younger one to break out.

You also will have the 5th-8th pick in the draft which should get you a nice player...a lot of rookies will go in the first round.

Edit: I guess you have to be in the league to see those rankings. Once you take over the team you can see the rankings. You will need a yahoo account if you don't have one.

In terms of rule changes.
Not a fan of the snake draft in dynasty. It is correct for the initial draft but the idea in dynasty is that you might suck for a few years but eventually get good draft picks to improve. In subsequent years It seems like the snake draft helps keep the top teams stay at the top because they get two earlier difference makers as there are only 12 teams in a deep draft for this league. Imagine when high schoolers get added to the mix in a few years and there is a really deep draft of rookies coupled with the non-keepers. Just my opinion but maybe worth discussing.

Agreed - this is the format we do in my other dynasty leagues too.

I think you have to go with snake since we are not doing a full lotto each year which was what we originally tossing around and the top picks in the draft are likely huge difference makers. Getting two picks at the end of the top 20 when there are 16 teams and 8 keepers (meaning you are already 145 drafted players deep by the time you get to pick a player isn't that big of an advantage, but adding an Ayton or Jackson or Doncic or whoever is probably huge...and this probably goes about 10 deep for rookies.

Plus, the fact there are only 5 rounds, the teams that draft first actually get to go high in 3 rounds while the bottom drafters only get two higher picks.

Those cream of the crop lottery pick rookies...top 12 or so picks are a pretty big notch above the entire rest of what will be available, so that huge advantage is in the first round. But still get the advantage in the final round as well to get 3 higher picks, but particularly the one that really matters.
