That'd really be something for the kings if they could get Simmons whilst keeping Haliburton.

Props to Kerr for remembering his Phoenix days and also comparing Kuminga to Marion?

Man this kid would’ve been the perfect successor to CP3. I know many here liked this kid too. He’s already showing so much promise and would’ve developed into a star quicker from CP3’s tutelage.

Tremendous defensively too which is extremely rare for rookies

Man what a really stupid move it was to trade for a guy like Shamet that has gotten bounced around like a joint from every team he’s been on.

Could’ve just kept Galloway for Shamet’s role at 1/10th of the price and had a guy like Ayo ready to take over for CP3 in a year or two…

Chicago look to have the pieces to get Jerami Grant, they could end up with:

Ball, Lavine, DeRozan, Grant, Vucevic
White, Caruso, Dosunmu, Green, Bradley

I don't remember his name being mentioned here at all. I saw a little bit of twitter talk after our trade though.

Yeah, I was thinking about it after I posted and figured GoK probably posted about him since he posts about all the prospects.

Some really interesting trades mentioned in here!

Barnes to Minnesota and Hield to Boston would make them scary! But the craziest trade that is proposed and that should be scariest to us would be Jerami Grant to the Memphis Grizzlies. As scary as they currently are, imagine them with Grant at the 3. Imagine ..........
Morant/ Bane/ Grant/ JJJ/ Adams!?!?! :o

Lol Kerr lying to himself with that quote... Kuminga is trash compared to Marion at the same age... Marion was compared to a mixture of Pippen and Rodman as a rookie... he was already very good both ends. Kuminga is trash compared to Marion (and any good players lol).

Hield to Celtics wont make them scary... it would be horrific ball movement between Brown, Tatum, Smart and Hield.

Barnes to Wolves helps them, maybe help secure a playoff spot for the next 2-3 years.

Jerami Grant to Grizzlies is a problem... for Suns. Grizzlies are hot and have enough hard workers to cause problems in a series. Jerami Grant is expensive, so not sure how they can get him.

Technically, I believe they could offer something around:
Brooks/ Z Williams/ Clark and 2 firsts ( utah 2022) and ( Lakers 2022) or their own. They have plenty of cap space and like 16 draft picks after the Bledsoe trade, etc.

+1

Celtics' issue is they have no PG who can run the team nor an offensive system that generates good shots. They got two elite scorers (2x Jays), a really good utility guard (Smart) and a solid shooting guard (Schroder) but none of these are will help set up your offense or distribute the ball at a high level. Smart, Schroder and Tatum can all pass but they aren't PG's nor leaders and their current offensive system under Udoka just isn't generating enough quality looks unlike under Stevens.
