Why? What has he shown? Did you not watch his weaknesses on video? People say KG was skinny when he came in....yea muscle and bones this dude is just bones!

Kaminsky dominates Okafor, and balls up Kentucky's front line and yet everyone hates and and dismiss he play.....

Actually he has shown quite a bit, being consistent performer in Spain, playing against much higher level of competition than anybody in the NCAA. There isn't a player in this draft without weaknesses and Porzingis might be as good as any of them.

Good post. I am going to have to acknowledge that from now on. I am intrigued with Kristaps..... I think Bledsoe and Kaminsky>Kristaps but I would be excited to have the guy. If he breaks out, he would be a superstar no doubt. A Dirk/Gasol/Durant hybrid :o

If we trade for the 4, it better be because Jahlil Okafor fell past LA and Philly.

I disagree. I think Porzingis is legit and would be perfectly fine trading up to grab him. Our length on the front line between him and Len would be absurd without sacrificing spacing or athleticism. That kind of combo is rare.

Quote: "I take it personally when people are touted as better than me. I hate Anthony Davis."

I'd prefer not draft a raging hater.

That quote is nothing. Lots of athletes say that type of thing. He is not saying he is better, he is saying that when a player is hyped as better than him he find more personal motivation.

He is competitive. That's a good thing.

That's not what he's saying. Certainly not what he's inferring. And in fact, since it's what he WROTE rather than SAID, I have less tolerance for it. He's either too stupid to communicate what he actually meant to or else he's straight up delusional. Either way, he's not somebody I want on my team. To be irrationally angry because people correctly think somebody is better than you at the game of basketball is asinine. Competitiveness would be to say "he's better than me now, but I'll work my ass off to change that." That's not what he wrote.

Yeah that's a buzz kill.

How is this guy CONing people to sign with him is my question. Dude had no experience or education to Even be considered to represent anyone let alone NBA players.

This is why I am tired of the #13 picks. Ryan mcd needs to do whatever he can do to get a better pick.

That's a wrong way at looking to the statistics. They should have looked at the 13-60+ range statistics, instead of 13-15. After all, all players who are not picked in 1-12 range are available. It's on the GM to pick the best player after that.

This is the same type of statistics that would say that pick 22 is worse than pick 23 because historically better players were picked with pick 23. Which is completely false, pick 22 is always better.

Agreed, we should trade for 22.

Kaminsky will not be available at #13. There's no way he drops that low. If he doesn't go top 10, he will surely get snagged by Indy or Utah.

The more I think about it. I think I would be pretty happy with anyone in our range. The one guy I really don't want is WCS since we need guys who can shoot and rebound. Len can already be a force in the middle and WCS wouldn't be respected on offense.

He projects as a center and his biggest strengths are shot blocking and rim protecting. If we needed a center, fine, but we don't, unless you just want him to be a long term backup/insurance for Len.

NBA teams are smitten with his defensive skill set. At 7-0, he is considered a premier defender in the same vein as Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler. He is a center who can protect the rim and defend the pick-and-roll, including the ballhandler, with his size and speed. The concern is Cauley-Stein's offense. He averaged 8.9 points...

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/draft/2015/06/23/willie-cauley-stein-nba-draft/29175395/

He has some great qualities, but he is a junior and is being compared to freshman and sophomores who were much better than him in his freshman and sophomore years.

He could also play with Towns because Towns could play a bit on the perimeter if needed and Lyles could hit a midrange shot.

You can see his shot chart here....he RARELY made a fg outside of about of about 4-5 feet. http://ncaa-basketball-players.pointafter.com/l/4989/Willie-Cauley-Stein

This is a really cool site....they have all the prospects listed and their averages this year and then if you click on the player, you get all sorts of info...shot charts, game by game stats...tons of stuff.

http://ncaa-basketball-players.pointafter.com/

Myles Turner's shot chart shows a lot of versatility and range on offense..he can hit from all over the place.

http://ncaa-basketball-players.pointafter.com/l/1568/Myles-Turner

Same with Portis

http://ncaa-basketball-players.pointafter.com/l/5119/Bobby-Portis

Trey Lyles with decent range...not as good as the above two...but it looks like 12-15 feet he is solid. (I know we knew this but it's interesting to look at).

http://ncaa-basketball-players.pointafter.com/l/4991/Trey-Lyles

No shot chart for Looney but he looks like by far the best rebounder and 3 point shooter.

Willie Cauley-Stein not medically cleared by Pacers medical staff. Have heard a few teams scared by his ankle. https://mobile.twitter.com/Probballdraft/status/613766645597753345

That plan will surely backfire. What helps make Dirk so successful is his broad shoulders. Kaminsky has some pretty narrow shoulders. He'll be getting punished rather easily both offensively and defensively IMO, especially with his poor lateral movement. Broad shoulders are mostly genetics so his best option would be to bulk up.

I'd be really disappointed if we picked him and I'm surprised he's leading the poll.

Who is Stanley Jefferson? If the commissioner walked to the podium and the slip of paper said, "Stanley Jefferson, University of Arizona" would you just lose your pick?

So to add to my list of no offense and not a great rebounder, the last thing we need is another 7 footer with foot/ankle problems.

WCS is talented enough that he's worth picking at 13 even with ankle issues.

The Suns aren't in position to go into this draft with a "safe" mentality. This roster has issues. Go big or go home.

When you look at Porzingis, does you really think he can guard an NBA 4? I don't think so, nor do I think he'll bulk up. To me, he'll be Bargnani with a flashier transition game. If he fell to 13, I'd grab him, but I wouldn't trade away Bledsoe to grab him at #4. Besides, he is just about the definition of a Sam Hinkie player, so he will probably go at #3.

As for a theoretical Okafor/Len front court, I'd be willing to take my chances this year at playing both on the court at the same time. If it doesn't work out, then look for a possible trade, but Okafor is just too talented to not grab if he's there at #4.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
