jokes aside. i changed my mind. first i thought a point guard should be the priority. now i think defense and rebounding is what the suns hould be looking for.

One player doesnt make an entire defense but if theres a guy who could be the tide that raises the ship, it might be Draymond.

On paper, he'd be great. No way the Dubs trade him inner division. I personally would love to get Thybulle. He's a former 1st team all defense guy who can wreck havoc on the wings and guards we'll be meeting in the playoffs.

Doesn't care at all about shooting so we're good there. I have no idea what PDX would want for him tho.

Here is hoping, as he is seemingly starting to string some stuff together in this winning streak...

We are already all of that.

Spoiler:
Bates-Diop averages in his last two games:

8 points, 1.5 boards, 1.5 assists, 1 steal shooting 7/10 (2/4 triples) in 16.5 minutes. +16

That's the KBD we expected and hopefully he can keep it up.

Sorry for late answer I was busy. But also a good point to come back to now. No, we are not all that.
This is what I was referring to - even during our winnig streak. As constructed now, we are not beating the top 4-5 teams. Maybe some games in the regular season (although we are yet to see that in larger numbers with everyone healthy on both teams). So I think we still need the upgrade, and for the first time ever in his carrer JJ seems to be looking at the right things and the right players. A good athletic big wing, who can either start at the 3/4 with KD thus putting Allen on the bench, plus a big defender for rim protection, Nurk injury insurance (and just general insurance against overplaying and fatigueing Nurk).

Yes, Bridges is a POS for what he did. But at this point I don't care enough for that. Do I like it? Far from it. Will it make me stop rooting for the Suns? Even more far from it. If we win the chip with him will it leave a tiny bad taste in my mouth? Sure. Would it ruin the experience I've been waiting for 30some years? Nope. So if we can get him (and his teammate) for peanuts, I'm all for it.
Not one player performs from our bench, not even on semi-regular occasions, while we are admittedly all-in. Do something about it!

We technically have no bench at this point. I can’t even count Eric Gordon since he performs 2 good games out of every 10. Something needs to be done or else an injury is imminent with our starters playing heavy minutes. Is this the worst bench unit we’ve had since our team was formed in 68?

Btw, Eubanks has stepped up recently it’s a pleasure to watch. But only a matter of time until he regresses and we start looking for a new bench player to step up. A trade can’t come any sooner, huh?

I watched Thybulle a bit on the 6ers. Isn’t he kinda same player as Okogie more taller but can’t shoot and is just an excellent defender?

I hope they trade Gordon as salary filler so Vogel can't play him.

He's a much better defender in my book. I mean he's made multiple all defense teams. Okogie has never even sniffed one. He can't shoot though he's a much better shooter than Okogie as well.

So, basically he's an improvement on Okogie-in every way. Annoys me that JJ didn't insist on him in the Ayton trade.

Well, you can always hope that someone (wet dream: more than one) guy starts playing like they did last year from our bench. There is a small chance - I mean I have not seen anything like this in my 30+ years watching the league. Team signs 4 new guys who have been OK in the previous season and all 4 just sht the bed. Wassup with that? So I guess if there is a "return to mean" at least one of Eubanks/KDB/Yuta/Gordon should be better going forward. Might not be what you call a game changer, but might be what tips us over the edge.
As for trade(s) - yeah, realistically I would look to add either Bey or Brigdes, plus a bought out Byiombo. A good 5th starter, and a good defensive C. I can dream of bigger things, but those are very-very unlikely due to our lack of resources. This would make Allen our 6th man, we'd have a good rim protector in Biz, and Gordon would only be our 2nd guard off the bench, which I would be fine with in this rotation.

Thybulle would be great to address our perimeter defensive issues. Just guessing though, they'd most likely want a first or at least 2 2nds and a young prospect back. Especially with their rebuild and Mike Schmitz being there assistant GM.

Im not exactly a JJ fan but Thybulle was unable to be traded at all since he had just had an RFA offer sheet matched. So that cant really be a thing.

If Thybulle isn't currently a thing ( thanks to Dremill for the info) then 3 names that probably no one will look at or consider But have very similar defensive attributes and skillset/ tenacity that could simply be signed outright as unrestricted free agents are Feron Hunt, Nate Hinton, Marcus Garrett.

And of course you'd create that spot by doing a 2 for 1 or 3 for 1 or 3 for 2 type of consolidation trade for a more known proven name from our trade discussions, etc.

Also not to forget Donovan Williams as a long high energy super athletic two way wing currently flying under the radar in the GLeague.

He wasnt a thing at the time of the Ayton trade. Hes tradeable now I think but would have to sign off on it.

GOK out of all our bench players who do you think we should keep and get rid of? Just wanted to hear your opinion on this even if it’s a written page or two. :)

"A mistake"

By that you mean attempted murder of his wife.... in front of their kids? Just to clarify your point.

Also the accuser with miles bridges sounds like a crazy women

Bridges says on three separate occasions, including just two days after he accepted a plea deal to close out his criminal case with Johnson, she's showed up to his home or places he's staying and harassed him, causing him emotional distress and anxiety.

And tried breaking window with hose nozzle !!!

Sounds like she was a winner yall support
