I have no idea, the hack bw linked is from 2014. On the bright side, I didn't even know this account existed (I have two Yahoo accounts apparently, the one I use hasn't been hacked)

Damnit, that's who I was waiting to take and didn't really have a backup plan. Though when I saw your lineup I thought there was a pretty good chance you'd take him.

Yup, needed a true PG on the roster.

Had an offer on table for my draft pick, but didn't wanna take the risk on losing Ricky. Looks like I made the right choice.

Fournier should have a good season though, specially with Dipo gone now...

Tastic, thanks for the offer, but I'm going to go ahead and use my pick. I was hoping to get Rubio as well, I don't like his low FG%, but Ricky is a steal at this point in the draft. Knight was my next choice, but he's gone too, so...

I figured if I could get Ricky, I could forget about assists and steals for the rest of the draft, and my FT% would be solid. I don't really think Dunn will eat into his stats too much or that he will be traded. If anything it will help keep him more fresh. I prefer him over Rondo because with high usage guys like Wade and Butler, I think Rondo playing with them is somewhat like Nash going to play with Kobe. A big hit to assists.

That being said, the more I started looking at Fournier, I think he fits my team pretty well.

So I'm a little behind on the news! No, this just hit the news in the last couple of days though because they confessed to it.

I was going back and forth between Rondo and Rubio and decided on Rondo due to many factors. I had Rubio last season and he can be somewhat frustrating to own. Add in LaVine getting more minutes this season, along with the addition of Dunn and i dont think Rubio will be as much of a factor this season as he has been in seasons past.

As for Rondo, i think Wade will end up being the odd man out. I have been reading great things about Rondo coming out of Chicago.

Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg said he expects Rajon Rondo to "thrive" in his offensive system.
Hoiberg helped Rondo with a hitch in his shot last week with the hope that he will be an improved outside shooter this season, so it sounds like their relationship is off to a good start. The Kings led the NBA in pace last season which really helped Rondo's numbers, and Chicago is also expected to get out and run.

I have found numerous articles talking about how much time Rondo has spent with Coach in the offseason (reports state around 3 hours a day going over plays and film). Coach had to dumb down his playbook for Rose, and due to Rose not being a "Natural play-making PG", that put more of the load and ball handling duties on Butler, which is supposed to change this year. You also have to factor in the addition of starting C Robin Lopez, who we all know cant create for himself and relies on being assisted by a PG, while also having a high conversion rate when being assisted.

With all that being said, im more than happy with my choice of Rondo over Rubio. All i really need from Rondo is the assists and steals. I believe he will still get plenty of both as long as he is getting 30 minutes.

Rubio should still get plenty of playtime even tho they drafted Dunn since Thibodeau loves defensive minded, hard working, team-first players like Ricky. Thibs already mentioned that he'll likely play Ricky and Dunn together in the backcourt at times, which makes sense cuz they're big PG's who can guard SG's. Plus Dunn's still a rookie and shouldn't have that big a role just yet.

Even if Rubio loses a couple mins per game from his 30 MPG last year, his production will still be well worth it at pick 60 !

Between Rubio and Rondo I'm not sure who will do better this season, they're both similar players. Rondo will def have his production go down from his huge stats 2015-2016 season playing with weak players on the wing last year, but could still be very productive. Butler and Wade handle the rock more often than Wiggins and Lavine, but Rondo has already co-existed with Pierce/Ray Ray/KG in the past, and Wade will miss some games like usual...

I prolly would take Rubio over Rondo if I had the choice as of now, but good thing I didn't have to choose since Rondo was already taken :D

Have to say I'm pretty stoked about my trade since ALL of my targets are still available. Greg Monroe? Really?

Anyway, too much upside to let this guy slip any further...

Greg Monroe at 56 is baffling. Major reach on a guy that may not get 20minutes a game with Plumdog working best with other players on that Bucks team. I guess you have to pick Monroe hoping he gets traded to a better situation, because he sure aint playing the 4 in MIL

I also feel IT was a bit of a reach where he was picked

Yeah I decided to take a low risk approach to the draft this season. Monroe, whilst he might not be flashy, did provide upper 5th round value last year and seemed a relatively stable commodity despite trade concerns because it appared he had little competition at the center. I've been burned far, far too many times by following hype trends and drafting for "upside" in the 5th-6th rounds.

But apparently now there's news he will be playing with the 2nd unit. Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose. :banghead:

So you can't really criticize the pick based on what just happened in the last 10 hours because it happened after I picked. Pretty damn pissed about this news. I suppose there's no way to rescind my pick?

Don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but I can. He didn't start for most of February, his MPG in the last month dropped to 25. He was 89th after the All-Star break.

And to do it after criticising Valanciunas at 44 despite him putting close to that value last year (42nd in the last month of the season). Bit weird.

Man Fournier dropped to 74 and I took him at 61. Only looked at him for 10 minutes, but liked his fg%, ft%, 3s and steals. Didn't see much downside.

Was he on anyone else's radar? I know they have Super Mario but Fournier just kind of came into his own and with Payton, Gordon, Ibaka, and Biyombo they will need some offense. Yes they have Vucevic too but they still need offense.

Argh...literally made offers to 4 dudes ahead of me and missed out on my real target Schroder. Ah well.

Went back and forth between two bigs, I'll go with my sleeper pick and I suspect Washington Generals takes the other guy...

MYLES TURNER. Boom.

Why not? I mean this comes from someone who took Kobe in what, the 5th round last year? I doubt he lasts til my next pick and probably best SG in left. I considered Beal but that was a question mark. Hadn't Knight been taken higher? Fournier is a starter and the #1 scoring option with 1.2 steals and shooting like 46+ % while shooting 2 3s a game at 40%. Over 15 PPG and also 86% from FT line.

Fournier was 64th ranked post AS break - 17.9pts, 2.8reb, 2.8ast, 1.1stl, 1.9x3pt, 49/85 splits. Basically exactly what you want from a SG that range - essentially Klay-lite stats with less PTS/3PT but better shooting, more STL too.
